Just another reason why dumb rednecks need education on alcohol in general. When you're poor, with nothing to do, drinking is your option. Plus, when you have chain restaurants as your options what do you expect? A nice restaurant would bring in good quality people, not dumbasses looking at the pictures of drinks to order from.

There are some ridiculous comments flying around. Poor doesn't mean you drink, redneck doesn't mean you're dumb.

Each has their own reason - but whatever it is, let it be decided at the polls. I don't think anyone should push their moral beliefs on another and I don't think having a drink with a meal will condemn anyone to hell.

I never could understand why "Christians" bitch and complain about drinking. The MAN you worship turned water into wine. Even he like to drink a little bit.

If you are out fishing, just the two of you, and ask a baptist if they want a beer, they will accept. however, if theres 2 Baptist on the boat, neither will accept.

I consider myself to be a Christian, and I have looked and asked the question to many, where in the Bible does it speak out against drinking.
Now I have read where it Bible makes references to doing anything in excess and we should treat our bodies as temples. There are a whole lot of fat Christians that eating waaaaaaay to much, and excessing what is health and not treating their body as a temple, as it is stated in the Bible.
There is a different between drinking and getting drug.
There is a differences between YOU CHOICING not to do something and something being wrong. Just because you choice not to drink doesn't make it wrong. Now getting drunk is something different. For something to be wrong, you have to be able to point out why it's wrong (either by the laws of the land, or the law of the Bible).
Some churches give you an option at communion, either wine or grape juice.
I'm always willing to learn, so please tell me where it's says drinking is wrong in the Bible.

Most who go to church, have their own relationship with God. Any label you place yourself in can be un-defined for lack of living up to what you wish you could.

How many do you think will get into Heaven? It wont be because of one beer that you do not get into Heaven. It will be the mass troubles that you have chosen in your lifetime altogether. Be more affraid of mocking those labels than drinking them!

Dude: I've seen you name like on a lot of post: especially the wrong way driver.
Are you asking now is it a sin for you to be drinking, which I'm sure you do, looking at some of your statements.
That's bad enough: But what you going to do about fat people now. How bad are you going to talk about them. Are you both. Are you down on yourself. Is that why you are such a mean and cruel person. You drink and drive, and do drugs, and eat waaaaay too much? Dude : You're a mess in the head!!!!

Proverbs 20:1 "Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise." There are two types of wine in the Bible. One is fermented wine, the other speaks of juice taken directly from the grapes, which is grape juice. People need to get their story straight especially when they are speaking of a Holy, Sinless, Omnipotent God. Stop falsely accusing Him!

It makes no sense to use the Bible as a crutch and to get what you want. If we lived by the Bible then we would not have many of the goods you have come to enjoy and love. Do you tithe 20% of your earnings every week to the Church you attend like the Bible says? Probably not, few do, and we all sin. So to use the Bible against the items YOU dislike is morally wrong. If you do not like the alcohol, do not go there. We all sin, and as long as you have accepted Jesus as your savior and ask for his forgiveness, then your sins will be tossed in to the sea of forgetfullness. It is not up to you to Judge other people or to try amek decisions for them, only the Lord can pass judgement. So the next time you are cussing at the person that cut you off pulling out of Lake Park, or watch a show/movie that has curse words and vulgar material, and so on, that is just as bad as drinking any alcohol. A sin is a sin and all sins are the same in Gods eyes, no matter how big or small. So as the Bible says, "let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

Whoever claims to be a Christian, in order to pass judgement on others is not living by the word. Moderation consuption of wine was OK by Jesus or he would never changed it at the wedding.

RELAX, my fellow Christian believers and let God handle the judgements.

How right you are. The Deacon puts up a great front being a "christian", however, ride by his house on a Sat afternoon, expecially when he's working in the yard, "beverages" are flowing!!

I consider myself to be a "true Christian" as you have put it. The bible does not prohibit alcohol. Locust citizen said it best, Jesus first miracle was turning water to wine. We are not in the age of prohibition anymore, please join us in the 21st century.
