When will people stop killing their families and self over domestic troubles???? Separations, divorces happen and life DOES go on afterwards. Life is too precious to give up just because of disappointments.

wow this is really sad. the dad went through so much trouble just to be kept close to his kids. what a nasty woman...how could you be so selfish? if you want to die, good kill yourself, everyone will eventually get over it. but to kill somebody else...especially innocent kids...wow, she just got herself a one-way ticket to hell.

This woman was selfish. Why take her childrens lifes away.

There is nothing in the story to show what this poor woman was going through that would lead her to take an action with such tragic results. She must have gone through h.e.l.l. to come to this decision.

So so sad.

3 found dead in home INDIAN TRAIL, N.C.-- Union County sheriff’s investigators believe an Indian Trail woman killed her two children before shooting herself at the family's home.

Alyssa Nicole Sherland, 7, and Ryan Alexander Sherland, 9, were shot and killed. Each was found in their own bedroom.

This is so sad! I personally worked for Conrad at B & C Wireless in Miami, he was such a devoted and caring dad. Many days Alyssa and Ryan came to the office with him. He does have a very bad temper and it was a relief when the kids was there. It is my opinion thay Ryan and Alyssa were the only humans who had the abilility to calm him. Amanda was a soft spoken woman, who had very little to say. The individual that killed those kids was really a troubled soul, and not the Amanda I knew. My son was in Alyssa's class last year at Quiet Waters Elementary and we went to her birthday party. She was a very sweet, energetic little girl and well liked by all. I didn't know her brother Ryan but I am sure he was the same. They will be missed by many.

lt is such bad feedding went a man or woman take the life of their young children . but what do you expect the way the world going , like i was told by an old preacher they will have the best babysitters that they can have.

I hope those precious children did not know that the person they loved and trusted was doing this unspeakable act. I hope by, that by some miracle, they were asleep and their last moments did not include looking into their mama's face.
No matter how bad life is, it's never right to harm your children.
