don't believe anything this group says. They are part of the yankees that are taking over Union County. The same bunch that wants to keep Wal-Mart out. They are racists & bigots that don't want the good folks that shop at Wal-mart in their neighborhood.

s it legal for Judge Tracy Carroll to be married to Lt Billy Flurry who works for the Aiken County Sheriff's Office? LT Flurry has a number of officers who present there case in her courtroom for warrants, arrests, hearings, trials, etc. It's hard to believe that she is able to conduct impartial and independent hearings given that she's sleeping with law enforcement. This just doesn't seem right from an ethical point of view? Can anyone help Aiken? This explains why they use two different last names.

Kirtg-As for the Wal-Mart, do the research before spouting off idiotic statements. How would you like to have a Super Center 20 feet from your back yard? That was what was Wal-Mart was going to put in Western Union County.

We want managed retail growth, not unmanaged over growth. The retail that is now moving into the space that Wal-Mart gave up is smaller, and fits into the community, as what was originaly planned BY THE UNION COUNTY GOVERNMENT!!! NOT BY WHAT YOU CALL YANKEE RACISTS AND BIGOTS.

This group that is fighting the wastewater resuse is a different group, but they care about their community.

That group wants no growth. They are the same ones who elected the pro-homosexual & pro-drug commissioners to the Union County Board. They succeeded in keeping those kind of people out of their community. I was at one of their meetings they actually said Wal-Mart would bring in blacks & poor to their community & they had to keep that from happening. They are racists, bigots & carpetbaggers.

We have been stepping in Yankee Crap for several years,its time for them to step in and smell what we've been smelling since they moved here.At least one turd is moving back North.

Watch this group closely they are poised to take everything away from the eastern part of the county. This group is only part of the groups that are enemies to anyone living in Eastern Union County. The only chance is to expand the board & elect some pro-Eastern Union County commissioners.

What does Yankees have to do with decisions in NC?
With the growth in NC are you suggesting it's only because of the north moving in? Do you want all who are from the north DEPORTED from your state and take jobs and money from your state with them? Face it certain counties have grown too much and the people end up paying! Your city of Monroe itself once was a nice place to visit, but with the business increase and driving on 74 has taken away from your city. The Wal-Mart issue is in every state, some want them and some don't in certain areas, this is not a southern or northern opinion. When I visit NC I spend money which inturn GOES to YOUR city and state funds. So if you want the north to stay out and our MONEY then start a campain to do this, start with your local government, tell them you don't want the north in your state, because we are BIGOTS and then on to your state capital. Just for you, some of your judges and teachers etc. etc. were born in northern states.

Some people can't stay on a subject without demeaning people. People from that communtiy have concerns which need to be heard and looked into before anything is done. I agree with you about managed growth, too much and issues like this come up. Good Luck
