I do agree that every parent should hear their child's name, but what everyone is not seeing is that the police are making a larger disruption arresting people than the people that are cheering. 2002 Fort Mill graduation I saw 5 police officers take 10 mins to catch a teen who was chearing and then started jumping from row to row to get away. When they finally caught him they slammed him to the ground. With this going on one tends to watch the police and totally misses the ceremony.

I am in total agreement with you. Still this story demonstrates the ignorance and inconsideration that too many demonstrate. Good to see that not ALL of them live in south Florida.
