She should have kept quiet and not reported the incident. It really doesn't sound serious. Now that bear will be hunted down and killed for merely scratching her.
Sometimes people have sit back and think before they simply react to being frightened.

I was just curious as to how the bear entered the house? Was there a window or door open? She is right that the bear is only looking for food, so if there was a window open, the bear probably smelled food. I shut all windows and doors when I go to bed or when I am away from home. THIS IS BEAR COUNTRY! If we choose to live here, we need to respect the bear. I have taken all bird feeders down and keep any bird food in tin cans with covers inside a building because bear have a great sence of smell. However after removing the feeders it takes a while for the bear to realize there is no food available. They will still come to look where they have gotten food before,(for a while).
I do believe she was right to get help. She was scared and had no idea how badly she was hurt....She is pregnant!

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Pisces

You're lacking in energy and resources today, which will soon slow you down and make you feel as though you're wading through treacle. The only way to cope is to have as many breaks as possible, and not to set yourself impossible goals that you could never hope to meet. You're also very susceptible to the criticisms or put-downs of others, but do your best to ignore them.
