Well let us take a look a see what the major accoplisments for Obama have been...thus far.

We are still in Iraq. His plans for the future?

We are in Afghanistan in half assed way, just enough to get service men and women killed but not enough to do much of anything else.

The economy is better? Well kinda, the stock market was up yesterday, and GOLD set an all time record.
So IS the economy better?
Are the CEO's that got all the bailout money doing ok??????????
I'd would have to say "NO" the economy may look a bit better, but it's been propped up by billions of taxpayer money.
If it was really on an HONEST upswing would the price of GOLD be so high?

There is no confidence in the economy.

Banks are still closing.
So many people have lost their homes, but I don't know of any CEO's that have really "felt my pain".

Now we have the Obama Health Care Plan, and if it works 1/2 as well as the H1N1 vaccine distribution we are in for trouble....not to mention the hit our paychecks will take to fund the thing.

He really can give a good speech, but so far I am in worse shape than when Bush was in office.

When is the last time the Government took over anything that the "private sector" was doing,
AND WAS ABLE TO DO IT FOR LESS AND MORE EFFICIENTLY?

A bad choice for America, nothing I can see is better.

Obama sucks.

The stock exchange is on the up, housing is beginning to rebound. But, there are no jobs, a huge deficit, still at war. I know it won't be overnight success, but I really thought more might be accomplished by this point.

The price of gold has not gone up. The value of the dollar has gone down. Gold has always been priced on the value of the dollar.

Just sayin. The price of gold never changes. Only the value of the dollar.

The value of the dollar has been in the pits since 2007. And there are those who believe it's intentional devaluation to bolster our exports will actually help after the fallout. We'll see.

It really is all about confidence and America is showing that it has very little confidence.
As for what would happen if BushCo was still in office?
I can't say, you see, he's not in office.
Obama is, and NOTHING is changing.

Ohio has more folks out of work than ever, and the 10.2 doesn't show those folks who have just given up looking for a job.

As for the poor working stiff, if the Obama Health Care package flys, there will be even LESS, and those that will be "let go" because of cut backs in smaller buisness will be funded by the few who still have jobs, and will pick up the slack.

Wait until you get a good look at what FREE health care will cost the employed.

As for the stimulus package and the banks and others that "were just too big to fail", were is economic punch?

Where is that promised transparency? Why are CEO's still getting million dollar bonus checks?

Social Security this year equals no C.O.L.A.

As for selling apples on the corner, have you priced apples at Krogers?
Who can afford them besides CEO's?

How has Obama saved anything?

We are still in Iraq and Afganistan, but are any of those countries institued a draft to help themselves? But we are there, bleeding.

As you look over the Obama Administration, what would you say, at this point, is his greatest achievement?

This Health Care Bill would be tough to handle in a Healthy Economy. I may not see one of those again in my lifetime.

But I don't spend as much time posting here as I do writing to be heard in Washington.

One thing seniors do, and lot's of Baby Boomers as well, WE VOTE.

We may be stuck with ONE TERM OBAMA for now, but anybody else that is connected with him is done.

We vote again in 2010. I haven't missed one yet.

If that's the case, why could I buy an ounce of gold a few months ago for $900 and now I have to spend $1,100? The value of the dollar didn't drop 200 bucks.

Well let's see, after the Cash for Clunkers great idea that so many folks jumped on, we will, in about a year, be able to buy those 1 year old new cars cheap. A lot of them were purchased with Credit! There is no way all those people will be able to make the payments, not with the way things are going.

I will be looking at dirt cheap 1 year old used cars next year.
