Still awaiting blood results? I have heard so many stories about this blood result being negative. I don't understand why they are saying they are still awaiting results. Get on with it already. Must have a good lawyer, wait long enough, and it will go away, or be forgotten. Not by the victims' family.

This is awful, I am sure she din't mean for this happen. I know she made a huge mistake by drinking and driving but I can't imagine the pain she must feel everyday knowing that her actions killed 2 others, one being her own daughter. Sometimes the law has no room in things.

The Prosecutor, Police and the courts control the amount of time it takes to get a result. Not the Defense.

I realize "Criminals are not Victims". I was stating that the families of the fatalities would not be forgetting, even if postponing the judicial proceedings would cloud the memories of the public. Which might be a benefit to the Defense.

To Seeitnow she actually gave up the child for adoption when she was 4. Ambers father raised her. Jessica showed back up when Amber was grown just long enough to kill her. She needs to be put away for along time. The only comment I agree with from Rick James is why was she cruising aroung with her ex-husband? Great question since she was married to another man.

She did it to use the daught to grt what she wanted a quick fix thats why....

Unbelievable stupid comment, actually, her grandparents raised her as Mike never contributed anything. Jessica was not driving drunk. The DUI was dropped 3 months ago. Look it up in the Albemarle County court records online. It is a matter of public record. It is none of anyone's business why they were riding around together. This is a tragic accident, you haters should be pitied for your ignorance. I was at the funeral & saw the "tailgaters" there gawking at the families enjoying the free food & drinking beer in the parking lot. Shame on all of you!!

Just my opinion but........
Jessica has suffered enough.....Drinking or not Amber and Mike made a choice that night to get in the car with her. Speeding yes....she should be charged. Amber nor Mike were angels. What happened is terrible, but don't lay all the blame on Jessica's shoulders. Don't forget they were drinking to! Jessica is haunted by what happened. I see it in her eyes every time I see her, jail is NOT what she needs.
And why shouldn't she spend time with her ex....they have a child together. I say thats a great reason for them to be together.

Yes this is very sad but at the the same time I think this lady should get just as much time as someone who murders someone.. You know that you shouldn't drink and drive , ITS ILLEGAL. I know she is probably going through a lot of pain because she killed her daughter with her silly actions , it was very crazy of her daughter to get in the car with her after she had been drinking . But me being a person who is totally against drinking and driving , she needs to get plenty of time .
