Who do you think benefits from an illegal, low wage workforce?
Wealthy farmers, who are, of course, Republicans.
Wealthy hoteliers, who are, of course, Republicans.
Small business owners, who are, for the most part, Republicans.
Construction company owners, who are, of course, Republicans.
Wealthy users of nannies and housekeepers, who are, for the most part, Republicans.
Landscaping comapny owners, who are, for the most part, Republicans.
So, who do you think has fought the hardest against cracking down on illegal immigration? Republicans, of course, for the most part!
Serious case of wealth envy you got there dapper.

Not everyone can be wealthy. That's just how our society works. Even if every working man in the country had a Harvard MBA, there would still have to be a chain of command everywhere, and there would still be a bottom. If you try to do away with entitlement programs, you condemn invariably the bottom of that pyramid.
Does that seem fair to you? That the greater part of humans should always have to suffer so a few good men can amass riches to which their divine gifts of leadership have rightfully entitled them? If you do read the bible, you're doing it wrong.
You also shouldn't assume all people on welfare don't work. In selected instances, yes it has been abused, but understand that you can work ten hours a day six days a week and still qualify for government aid programs.
Where did you acquire the mindset that others should work for others less fortunate than them? Those that choose to do this are performing acts of charity which is commendable. For someone to forceably take from a person to give to another is a criminal act. Just because the government is behind the gun that robs the worker to give to another person doesn't diminish the criminal intent or act. Charity is better than stealing in order to help someone. In its simplist form: Charity is good, stealing is bad, got it? Teaching our children to give rather than take is the way it was and should be today.

But then that means welfare, social security, and unemployment are all "criminal acts". That's a little drastic don't you think? I agree, charity is better than stealing, but regardless of how much charity is given, there will still be stealing. That's just life. You can't expect everyone to obey all of the laws. That's why we have them. I feel like the republican viewpoint has reverted to a Victorian-European social law. Then, they believed the poor of society were barbaric in nature. They left them to their slums, to die of disease and foster crime. Is that what we want? Is that what America is? America is the nation for everyone. A nation of equal opportunity. I think Americans forget how well of we are. WE ARE THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON THIS PLANET. If you think otherwise, you have no pride or no intelligence, or an absence of both. It's time that you, and other republicans realize that all of us, millionaires or bums, are Americans, and, as Americans, we have a duty to one-another to look after each other. It's how America, civilization, and humanity as a whole succeeds.

Did you understand a word I said? Clearly not. Clearly the argument went way over your head. You're a complete moron, not even worth the effort it would expend just to think up a somewhat creative insult. You're just dumb. It's a good thing you're not in charge of anything.

Oh really?

I have no doubt that, relative to you, I am the wealthy one.

I'm confident the pecking order where you an I are concerned would find YOU washing MY car, mowing MY lawn, carrying MY luggage, cleaning MY golf clubs, acting as MY chauffer, waiting on ME.

In short, I'm positive my net worth is significantly higher than yours. It's a certainty that a person as illiterate, stupid and uniformed as you are is relegated to some type of menial, low-wage job, hence your bitterness and envy.

Hey chill out there Bill Gates. So you're a man of wealth. Congratulations! Whats that? You're b*tching because Obama's socialist plans support a percentage of your money being taken away? Maybe this will help you feel like people who aren't as fortunate. Have an open mind, will you? I am in no way a socialist. But let's face it--the idea doesn't seem to bad at the moment.

You're barking up the wrong tree.

No, I'm NOT wealthy. I was merely letting the Obama-hating fool from Roswell, GA know that I'm more than likely better off financially than he is.

And, no, I don't have a problem with tax dollars being used to help the less fortunate, who should not be confused with freeloading loafers.

I'd only be surprised if I encountered you in an office building and you weren't sweeping and mopping flors, emptying garbage cans or cleaning toilets.

Such is life for people of your limited education, diminished mental capacities and woefully inadequate social skills.

Oh the condescension and arrogance you display DD. Who cares anyway if you have a few more bucks, a bigger boat, or a nicer set of clubs, you are obviously not even close to as happy as a guy like I am. And I am right there with the really rich guys on the lake. I shoot even par with my fifteen year old set of clubs. As a matter of fact my golf league is tonight. I paint that office building you rent a space in and make a pretty damn good living doing it, and I care what you think about as much as you care what I think. You could be decent about disagreeing with folks, but then you just wouldn't be an extreme, partisan leftist, would you?

We are made to pay into SS and Medicare or didn't you know it? I consider them illegal democratic socialist programs which have been depleated of funds by allowing those who have not paid into them to benefit from them.

Ok hey wassup, is your brain messed up or something? Because Obama is THE WORST PRESIDENT IN US HISTORY!! He has done absolutely NOTHING to help our country at all. When has he lowered gas prices?? All I've seen lately is gas prices getting higher. You just like him because your one of the lazy asses who don't work and are getting a check food water and many other things coming from the people who work hard to get there money. Obama will NEVER get reelected, if he does this country will crumble. He has embarrassed one of the best countries in the world and made it garbage.

The wealthy don't have to be hardworking and "sucessful" just as much as the poor don't have to be lazy and ungrateful. You, my friend, equate monetary wealth with merit and hard work. All my life I've been told "it's not about the salary, it's about what you get out of it." I believe that to be true. Money is just money, you can't take it with you.
Now we aren't a socialist nation. The people who make a lot of money lead lavish lifestyles and the people who don't make a lot do without. No one is asking anyone to surrender all their riches.
But there are people out with genuine problems, people that were born into ignorance and couldn't be expected to know any better. Im not in favor of "the dole," but any program we use to reach out to them, our fellow citizens, is going to require money. We can't pull people out of nothing with macaroni and glitter. Money is first and foremost a means of survival.

THAT'S WHY THEY'RE THERE! TO HELP PEOPLE WHO CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY INTO THEM! Do you not understand at all how this works? A socialist program would be coming to your house, kicking down your door, and living in your basement without your will. That's what a socialist government would do. Our democratic government has simply been using programs in place for 70 years to Bettye's and better society.

Also, for raging on and on about other's education, you suck at grammar. To "deplete" is to drain, or use up. "Depleate" as you used it can only refer to taking the creases out of one's pants. Nice job. You really "depleated" your credibility. LOL

Intelligent, educated, informed people know there is more than one cause of the Social Security Fund being in the shape - a) thieving, lying politicians - from both parties - borrowed from (looted) the Social Security fund to pay for other pet programs and b) payments to undeserving freeloaders who contributed little, if anything, into the fund to being with.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Aquarius

If you're a typical Aquarian you're often quite idealistic and today is no exception. You're wandering around on cloud nine, especially if you're thinking about a very special someone, and indulging in all sorts of deliciously romantic daydreams. Reality? You've no time for it right now, because it will intrude too much on your fantasies.
