It seems like a lot of people these days as the question, "What is news?" On messages and comments every day, someone will say that "this isn't newsworthy," such as all the stories about Britney, Lindssy et al. And normally my take is that one person's news is another person's drivel. But this...this is perhaps the most usless organization of text I've ever come across. Please, Mr. Carpenter, can you explain the point of thise article? Or better yet, to the editor hiding behind these words, can you explain why you let your publication print this? 100% amateur opinion on something as serious as suicide is not something anyone cares to read. I have some advice for your next column: pick a topic you know something about.
