Ford Workers In Missouri, Michigan Overwhelmingly Reject Contract Changes

I worked at the Ford plant in Hazelwood and moved to K.C. after SLAP closed. This plant is a filthy joke of a plant compared to SLAP. The union leadership in K.C. is nearly non-existant. I'm doing work today with 15 years seniority that I did when first I hired in with Ford. I'm happy to have my job but giving more concessions to a company that is on the brink of turning out millions in profits is a kick in the face. If more Americans don't start standing up to these corporate thugs, then we'll ALL be living below poverty union or not. STAND UP!!!

Then hummm lets see. chrysler in fenton closed totally, they made deals with rock hill to escape paying taxes, then they closed the plants, once again the American fed state and local tax payers got screwed by an american auto company. Then not only did they close the chrysler plant, uaw workers dissasembled the machinery, put it on semi's and sent that crap to mexico. How do you like Obama now you turds. Gm closed, those uaw jobs are being done by mexicans, those mexicans are doing a better job, working harder and not crying about it. Why did the jobs go to mexico ? Then the only cars made in america are toyota, honda and etc. Why didn't I hear any uaw workers get on the news and say anything to Obama when all the uaw jobs went to mexico and canada ? where was the uaw then huh ? No wonder it has been many years since I have bought a so called american made car. It is all outsorced anyway. there is no such thing as an american made car you dumb a-holes. I'll stick to my toyota & honda cars, they have proven to last way longer with less maintance. Oh did i mention my Suzuki sidekick that I got 300 thousand miles out of ?. I truly believe most union workers are greedy, particularly UAW it seems. They are a huge reason why jobs have gone elsewhere and why the "big 3" are in trouble (well, maybe not Ford as much). I also dislike unions because it's like they try to make every worker "equal". Someone who is a better employee doesn't have an opportunity to earn any more than someone lazy or less competent. To me, it seems to lower motivation. Now, there are some areas maybe unions are okay, but overall I think they're bad.

I will relise that when sometime every lazy uaw worker in this country looses his job that is because he/she is a lazy no good uaw person who could not think for themselves or even act for themselves. You have to get behind a group of people to succeed because you are a moron on your own. The Chrysler plant did not close under Bush's watch you freekin a-hole. Hey Dumb ass, I know when they shut down the plant! I lost my job when George Bush was president. He is the one who made it so easy for big buisness to take job overseas. And by the way a lot of the parts for the minivan where made right here in the USA. Pacific, Mo made our seats, Sterling Hights Mi did the stamping, etc. You can hate Unions all you want because you make min. wage, but I am proud of the fact my Union stood by me and seen I had a decent salary for a hard days work, along with medical in decent work conditions. Were there lazy people there? A FEW. But they were the minority. Nearly everyone I worked with came to work daily and busted thir ass to build a product we could be proud of. We produced 72 jobs an hour. Get your facts straight before you start spewing your hatred.
