Same experience as the rest of you. Ordered an item, didn't see the shipping charge till too late -it was half the cost of the item. Got an email back quickly from their customer service without any information embedded - so I didn't get a confirmation or order number or the details of my purchase. Tried to email them twice, chat, etc. No response. Tried all the phone numbers and either got a message like the ones posted above or got put on hold for an hour. Luckily, I cancelled my credit card (they hadn't billed yet). I don't trust these guys with my credit card #. Oh, btw, they were real quick with an email about URGENT on the invoice - heh, heh - guess they saw the credit card was no longer valid and couldn't bill me (again no body to the email) - Definitely a scam.

If anyone is having trouble contacting please e-mail us at customerservice@tvmarketplace. net. We have had a few troubles with a very small percent of people not receiving our e-mails through our e-mail system. TV Marketplace has been in business for about 4-5 years and have had some trouble due to growth problems. But overall we provide great products, great service, and great prices. To date we've had over 100,000 customers. We do expect to have some complaints and bumps along the way. But do hope to resolve each customer complaint and make them happy. Also no credit card is ever charged until the order is shipped, in trasnit, and delivered.

I ordered 3 Owl magnifiers, they had an offer - buy three and get three free. Well, I got the product, but I was charged 3 times for shipping and handling i.e 3 times $4.95 for the items. Attempts to contact them at the address provided have gone unanswered. This is a rip off. No where on their site did it say that shipping would be charged 3 times! Not a great offer when you consider these costs. These guys seem like scam artists.

11:45 am / waited 32 minutes on the phone. A fellow named Chris answered. Checked for my order, found it, will be shipped the end of this week. Gave me the u.p.s. shipping number. Chris actually was very pleasant and helpful. I typed my earlier comment after waiting on the phone 25 minutes. I do not know if it was chris the owner or not . He would not say. I'll let you know if it was shipped next monday the 30th October 06

I have been waiting for an order of pillows that should have been here by now and say they were shipped. UPS site can't find them so I see where I'm at now. How long do you have to cancel credit card on a deal like this???

Why are you showing UPS numbers when product is not shipped yet??? Why do tracking not work for you when it does for everyone else? Why do the phones not get answered or emails answered??? Chat doesn't work either, big surprise. Attorney General is next.Order 93855. |

It has been over a month since I returned one of the item(ordered 2personal cooler deluxe) because it wasn't working. i just ordered something from them and it was supposed to be here within four days and its been a month and i still haven't received it nor received a discount. i tried calling them but no one answers so i called my bank and they told me that it was a fradulent company. Luckily they have ways of getting me my money back so i guess i was one of the lucky ones. |

I'm getting the same thing. Nothing.
These people don't even know anything about the ones they rip off. Nor do they care. They have gotten me for almost 90.00 so far. But it stops here. I am contacting the Attorney General about this today. Here is how it went for me: I placed my order 11 days ago, after not being charged for 3 days I emailed them. At that point I was told that it was on backorder and should be shipped within 3- 12 days. 11 days later I hadn't received any more information from them. That was today. I started emailing them around 8 or 9 this morning. By Noon I had received a tracking number that did work through UPS but only stated that shipping information had been received-and get this, the shipping weight on my 190 lb. product was only listed as 29 lbs. I have contacted them again, with no response. I called my credit card company to stop any future charges, contacted my personal attorney, and am also in the process of contacting the Attorney General. DO NOT purchase items from TV MARKETPLACE. They will rip you off. I am also considering launching my own website boycotting them. I am trained in web design. It shouldn't take me long to put it together, I'll let you guys know when it's published. Please listen DO NOT purchase from TV MARKETPLACE.COM !!! |

What name(s) has everyone found these charges coming from on their credit card statements?
I ordered an item on 8/19/06 (over 3 months ago!) for $159.90 and have not seen hide nor hair. No response from them online and I get the "voicemail box full" message, too. This is insane! I DO NOT want to let these guys get away. |

It is listed as TV Marketplace on my card statement.
I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General today. I am also plastering the internet with my story about this company. |
