Does anyone know if TV Marketplace in Brookfield is a legitimate company or how to lodge a complaint about them? Orders placed and paid for have not been delivered. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks.

TV marketplace is a couple amateur brothers operating as middlemen
out of their apartment. I ordered something that never came and did some background checks on the company and them. I had to threaten them, that i would show up at their apartment and then they finally shipped the product to me. STAY AWAY FROM! They are
a RIPOFF!

Hi--I'm about to try to return a product to 'Tvmarketplace' myself, and am having trouble finding their phone no. in a 'reverse search' online. I might try calling my credit card company about the matter.
I do, however, have 'TV marketplace's' alleged address on the box from the product I ordered (and yes, I did get their product, although about 3 months late).

Dear Lon3,
If you ordered your item with a credit card (as opposed to a debit card) you might have some recourse (for 30 days? Not sure)by calling your bank. I called my bank's (Bank of America's) Credit Dept today, Jan. 17. However, BA's answering machine stated that their credit card dept was closed for the holiday.

HEY, wait a second--wasn't Martin Luther King Day celebrated YESTERDAY, Monday--NOT today (Tuesday?)

I wanna to order one a dem ab lounge things and had to call their number a buncha times and every damn time they told me my shit would be here the middle of next week. They also decided to charge my damn credit card twice. I didnt get my stuff til like 4 months later and the box looked like it was beaten wit a club or something.

I just called them and spoke to Tom about my order and was told that it would be here either Tue or Wed. So they are there right now, so I would call.

These guys are pathetic. After ordering I got nothing except notices that my product was back ordered and I would receive it in 10 days. This was over 2 1/2 months ago. I atempted to cancel this on three separate occasions without any acknowledgements. Just got an email that my order is about to ship and I have ordered this item elsewhere and received it within 5 days. Unbelieveable!

Here is the body of the e-mail I am sending to them today after they said it was shipped and UPS says it wasn't.

I have dealt with UPS almost daily for the past 10 years as a business owner and I know for a fact they do not take several days to update their tracking information. I will be calling the Attorney General's office in California, New Jersey, Wisconsin (http://www.doj.state.wi.us/dls/ConsProt/newcp... ), and Massachusetts since your company has phone listings in those states. I will also report you to www.econsumer.gov , the online BBB and the FTC. After researching your company, I see there are other victims lodging complaints.

I ordered an item. Haven't heard from them. Every time (except once) I call I get a message, "This voice mail box is full and cannot accept any more messages."

SOOOoooo, I'll check to see if te credit card was charged, tell the bank to stop payment, andf I'll order elsewhere.

I wish I'd googled this outfit and read these posts BEFORE I ordered from this
so-called company. I ordered an item on 7/25/06, have been assigned a UPS tracking number (they supposedly received billing info, but no merchandise).
Been trying to reach them for days via phone, email, etc. and have had the same experience as the rest of you. NADA! I'm about to send them a fax. Is there any point in doing that? Has anyone ever received merchandise ordered from them?
What to do now is the question?

Finally received my order. An orthopedic visco memory foam pillow. AWFUL!...hard as a rock. If I sleep with this thing, I'll make my neck worse. Won't return it tho' since I'm sure the refund process must be futile. Soo...
$ out the window. I've learned my lesson. Never deal with these guys again.

Yeah, this place is pretty much the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. So I order something from them like 6 months ago, but I cancelled because I couldn't believe that they didn't display shipping costs until after the order went through. I never received confirmation of cancellation, and 4 months later I get charged. I file a dispute with my CC company, and ship the item back (with my own $$). They refund the money, but what do you know, yesterday I got charged again, same amount and everything. Looks like they have serious trouble keeping track of what orders have been cancelled, or for that matter already shipped out and returned. Either they are really stupid, or they are crooks, my bet is the latter.

Does anybody know what name this company uses to bill your cedit card. I have been waiting a couple of weeks with no reply to my emails or phone call. I might as well have my credit card company turn down any billing attempts made by these guys.

I just canceled my order with them and had my bank issue me a new card to be on the safe side. It has been 1 mo. So charge,no mercandise. You call their number and a voice mail of a girl says this is not their number, not to call here. BE VERY CONCERNED if you placed an order. I was. Thanx, for all the posts I've seen, I had a bad feeling,if you do go with your gut.

I also have had a bad experience with these people. Bought $75 worth of space saver bags that don't keep the vacuum seal like they are advertised, did not discover this immediately, they tried to bill me again several months after the order was delivered and then told me to send the bags back if they didn't work, and once I did, they refuse to talk to me, after telling me that its been too long to return them. If you call them without blocking your number they don't respond to you if you have an issue with them. I found a site where everyone unhappy with them can go and post their displeasure and rate them. Unfortunately their rating for 6 months is 6.01. I just did my bit. Please go and leave your feedback at http://www.resellerratings.com/seller_info.pl... . I am out the bags and $75. Unbelievable!

Ordered today, also sent cancellation email to their email, with copy to my CC(AmeXP)...... received to my email, 2 notices, within 4 minutes of each that I had placed TWO orders !!!!!!!! This should serve to all of us NEVER ORDER ONLINE EXCEPT FROM REPUTABLE COMPANIES. Oh, well lesson learned.
