OK, Trump (who is anomaly in many many ways) filed bankruptcy four times. Who else has filed bankruptcy multiple times? By the way, the reason Trump went bankrupt is because he takes risks. He's developed many properties, by himself and with other partners, including: Trump Tower, Trump World Tower, Trump Park Avenue, Trump International Hotel and Tower (Ontario) Trump International Hotel and Tower New York Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago Trump International Hotel and Tower Fort Lauderdale Trump International Hotel and Tower Waikiki Riverside South AXA Financial Center 40 Wall Street Trump Taj Mahal Trump Plaza, Trump Castle Trump Hotel Las Vegas Mar-A-Lago, Trump SoHo Trump Plaza-Jersey City Trump Plaza-New Rochelle Trump Tower-City Center Trump Towers Sunny Isles Beach And let's not forget the Trump owned resorts and casinos. How many of these would have been developed if Trump had not taken those risks? By the way, I have a friend who dealt with the Trump organization shortly after the first bankruptcy. His company, as well as many others, demanded cash for their products and services.

Very interesting details on the NBC 15 link: "The governor says during his tenure as Milwaukee County Executive he had a clear and expressed policy against using county time or county resources for political purposes." ... "As that story broke, then County-Executive Scott Walker sent an email to Tim Russell. An excerpt: "We cannot afford another story like this one. No one can give them any reason to do another story. That means no laptops, no websites, no time away during the work day, etc." And that email is listed as a possible reason that fund raising activity by Kelly Rindfleisch actually dropped during the work day. The Walker campaign released the following statement on today's charges: "The Milwaukee County Executive's Office expressed policy was that county employees were not permitted to use county time or resources to conduct any political activity. Scott Walker expected everyone to follow the law and made that clear publicly and privately." . . . And on your FOX6 link: "“I had an expressed and clear policy that county employees in my office and elsewhere were prohibited from using county resources and county time to be involved in political activities. it’s a policy i expressed not only publicly, I expressed repeatedly,” Walker said." . . . . By the way, does your boss know you are using company resources to post this?

The fact his employees, per seized emails, communicated their activities were "campaign policy" is equally telling. People like you cause me to question the reading comprehension grading system of the US educational system. By the way, I don't work on Saturdays. But thanks for the chuckle.

Are you seriously taking on this argument? Trump is in the construction business... and he shares blame for the drain unnecessary risks have taken from taxpayers (government bailouts of the banks). I'm pretty sure GM and Chrysler took government money multiple times to save their behinds. And those bailouts were applauded by bipartisan government, until they discovered how unhappy taxpayers were with those decisions. In true Capitalism... the banks, Trump, GM and Chrysler would have been allowed to go to the poorhouse. Hell, the firs time Trump went bankrupt was because his ex-wife (the person behind his initial success) was awarded the 75% of wealth amassed by her know-how in the industry. So, the taxpayer paid for his bad marital and financial choices. The same goes for GM, Chrylser and the banks.

Then why isn't Ivana's name on all those properties? and you seem to be blaming everyone for the housing crisis except the two groups MOST responsible, those that bought houses they could barely afford, and the those responsible for the Community Investment Act of 1977 that allowed them to do it.

Tim Russell, a former close aide to Gov. Scott Walker, and Kevin Kavanaugh, Mr. Walker’s appointee to the Milwaukee County Veteran Service Commission, were arrested Thursday on felony embezzlement charges as part of a continuing criminal investigation that centers on people who served during Mr. Walker’s tenure as Milwaukee County executive. The charges involve money intended for relatives of veterans killed in action. Some of the money was used to pay for a trip to Atlanta for Mr. Russell to meet with the Republican former presidential candidate Herman Cain, the complaint said. Mr. Russell, 48, and Mr. Kavanaugh, 61, each face up to 10 years in prison if convicted of the most serious embezzlement charges. yep. My folks used to tell me you are judged by the people you assocaite with. - Tim Russell, a former close aide to Gov. Scott Walker, and Kevin Kavanaugh, Mr. Walker’s appointee. yep. recall.

Anti Al, the community invstment act was to make redling illegal because of the discrimation of certain neighborhoods. And did not force anyone to give a mortgage or twist anyones arm to do so. The people selling mortgages saw an opportunity to make a fortune in the sub-prime mortgages and done so. No one twisted their arms to sell mortgages to thsoe who could not afford to pay for them. Nor to forge papers nor to put wrong infpo on thsoe mortgages. It was done so as to make a killing in the mortgage industry. Several have already paid big dollars at the sec for doing so.

Oh my. What was Ivana's surname while married to Donald? Her name did appear on those properties. Furthermore, you may want to do some research as to her primary role AND the professional position she held in the FAMILY business. I'll help you out. SHE was the VP of Interior Design. SHE created what would became the signature look of a Trump structure. SHE also served as president of the Trump Castle Hotel & Casino. SHE later headed the many restorations of acquired properties. Had Donald not fought her, it would not have come out that she played a key role in the success of the Trump organization. I've mentioned the irresponsible USAmericans (Donald, GM & Chrysler included) who bought properties they could scarcely afford several times in my posts. Lawmakers didn't purchase those properties for those USAmericans. And Lawmakers didn't force them to take government bailouts. USAmericans are responsible for their actions... including actions such as taking advantage of loopholes, despite knowing other taxpayers are essentially paying for their lack of responsibility.

With regards to blaming the Community Investment Act for the housing crisis, we must ask one pertinent question:How many so called BAD LOANS ORIGINATED from institutions that operate under CRA guidelines? Not all lending institutions fall under CRA jurisdiction. MANY of the bad home loans originated from INDEPENDENT mortgage brokers. They don't operate under CRA rules. The primary destructive agent associated with the bad home loans were the ARM's (adjustable rate mortgages) that were attached to them. These arm's ballooned the homeowners payment out of reach of ever reasonably being able to keep up with the payment. By contrast,CRA loans had FIXED rates. I'm of the opinion that if these nasty loans were FIXED RATE, folks would have continued to be financially able to pay their mortgage. The other GLARING deficiency of blaming CRA is quite simply...THE TIMING. CRA was put into law in 1977. Are we to believe that any negative impacts associated with CRA would manifest themselves 30 some odd years later??????? If CRA was responsible for creating such irresponsible loans, this logically would have been revealed during the REAGAN BOOM YEARS but it did not happen. The reasons for the housing crisis has MANY reasons but i think it's a STRETCH to number CRA among them.

I guess liberal losers dont understand that getting more jobs, balancing our budget, saving money, and giving more money for education is a good thing?... 1) An economist, in an interview (yesterday) with Upfront with Mike Gousha, has estimated Wisconsin will have added a total of 50,000 jobs in form years. That's 50,000 - not 250,000... big difference. Who is to say that has more to do with Walker than it does with the national economy? 2) http://www.politifact.com/wisconsin/promises/... “The state budget, under the Wisconsin constitution, must be balanced. But the cash accounting method the state uses allows gimmicks to bring the budget into balance. For instance, the state has in years past shifted payments to local governments into the next fiscal year in order to make the budget appear balanced in the present”, said Robert Lang, director of the non-partisan Wisconsin Fiscal Bureau. Walker balanced the budget, and in a way that eliminated the state’s structural deficit, under the manner the state has long used.”- Politifact “In fact, the document shows that based on GAAP accounting, the state would have been left with a deficit of $3 billion by 2012-13 under Walker’s budget. That compares to the $2.9 billion GAAP deficit he inherited at the end of Doyle’s term, the state’s financial statements show.”- Politifact 3) "... giving more money for education..." isn't what happened. He put educational institutions in a position to do more with less. There is a difference. That is a business model. Teaching may be a profession, but learning is not.

No comments from the peanut gallery on the politifacts report? Imagine that. And judged "spam", despite the fact it directly responds to an earlier post regarding Walker's performance thus far? Shame. Here's another neat little tidbit... http://www.jsonline.com/watchdog/watchdogrepo... It was in the JS recently. I decided I'd better post it quick before the is no good (and I'm later accused for making it up). Why wasn't this crucial expenditure looked at sooner? I mean, if it's proven to fail in the past, wouldn't you examine why while you're putting together a budget plan? And why is Fitzgerald fighting for something he and other Republicans know is a big, fat failure. State reports are 25% over what the investment firms, themselves, report? And the JS calculations exposed even worse numbers than the firms reported. I know Democrats like to throw money around too, but come on people. No one mentions this on a Walker thread? Seriously?! State Sen. Glenn Grothman (R-West Bend), who voted for the 1999 bill, now considers such CAPCO programs "arguably the most unethical pieces of legislation I've seen since I've been in Madison." Same cash accounting methods as his predecessor... same inner circle unethical practices as his predecessor... and we're subsidizing a PRIVATE FIRM when we've never been able to balance the books on the investment? Bad steward of taxpayer dollars.
