$3.5 Million Bond In Deadly Waukegan Gang Shooting

Bond has been set at $3.5 million for a Waukegan man charged in a shooting Friday night that killed one Waukegan teenager and injured another.

Jerry Lee, 19, charged with first-degree murder in the death of Adan Rubio, 17.

Rubio was shot in the head while sitting in a car in the area of Belvidere and Victory streets, said Police Chief Bill Biang. Another 17-year-old male in the vehicle was shot in the foot.

Rubio was pronounced dead at Vista Medical Center East at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, said Lake County Coroner Dr. Richard Keller.
