Waukegan Teenager Drowns After Swimming With Friends

His last stupid offical act. The area was risky for swimers and the sign said so. Maybe they couldn't read. The life guard didn't want to risk his life for trying to save a kid who disregarded the sign. I don't blame the lifeguard, why should he risk his life for a dumb kid. I bet you couldn't pay the other two to go swimming again.

My prayers tot he family and friends of these two victims. May God bless you with comfort and peace in your time of grief.

No I'll be going to heaven. Wrong place, wrong time and you will die every single time. You can feel sorry for people doing stupid things that cause them their life, I don't. Perfect, hell no. COMMON SENSE, outstanding, and it has kept me alive for 51 years. Teach you idiot's, I don't think so, because you will not obey the signs. Face it, it is what it is, and what he did was just STUPID. Teach your kids better, and they will not do stupid things when they are with their friends.

Tom, you didn't answer my question. Have you or have you not done anyting stupid, dumb or made an error in judgement? Huh? I'm sure you have but pride may keep you from admitting it, at least publicly anyway. My children were friends with Johnny Garcia even with the other two boys I just cant believe what has happened, all the kids would get together and be out side for hours playing soccer, all the kids on this block are good kids.It just saddens me that this has happend now you look out side and there are no kids out playing . It would never be the same for anyone on this block .My heart goes out to the Garcia Family thoughts and prayers are with you. Torres Family
