Sad to see that Fincher supporters have to come on here and slam the current sheriff via false statements.
Do any of you call and complain to the drug task force about the drug problems? Do you really think that the current sheriff is taking payments from the drug dealers? Do you think that the drug dealers would want any law enforcement on the payroll. I can answer each of these questions for you...NO!
The truth is that since the Cooper murders there have been more than 200 felony drugs warrants signed by the judges (go to the court and look for yourself, I did). That is a little more than 2 per week at the time that I checked. If that does not prove that something is being done about the drug problem, what will?
I can say that Bill Fincher with his photo on the front page of the Echo holding a $20 crack rock bragging about how great he thinks he is will not.
