Advocates: Area families could benefit from Obama's proposal on illegal immigration

Look, they chose to come here ignoring our laws, then act like wounded animals when the law finally catches up with them. Come here the right way, and you never have to worry that this will happen to you if you toe the line. An illegal should benefit from nothing when roosting illegally in this country. Nor should they depend on the taxpayer to provide for their kids born here. If YOU can't feed them, don't breed them.

Too bad American citizens aren't given the same press! The press doesn't want to hear the other side of the issue. How disgusting!

The facts are this is not the first time people ever reaches out to these shores as wonded animals it has been the phenomena of this great land and I believe only nature of itsself can stop it.

Where's the story St Cloud Times about the American citizen who had loved ones killed in an auto accident by an illegal alien drunk driver? Where's that freaking story!!!

Reality check you need a reality check. We have laws against entering this country without proper procedures, its called the rule of law!! And it is a CRIME to do so illegally, that's why they are called illegal aliens!!

Advocates??? Why is it some pro-illegal advocates make the Newspaper? It is a illegal immigrant woman with 3 kids and a boyfreind who are probaly on Welfare. The "illegal immigrant" is the "PARASITE" to the "United States Taxpayers".

You do realize that in nature all living creatures defend their territory against invasion? Perhaps you are right. Americans may have to resort to defending their territory against invasion in the same manor that all living creatures do, first through intimidation and if that does not work violence. Local TV station was running 'public affairs/community interest' show at traditional low viewership slot-around 5AM/6AM on Sun morning.The topic was the mean ol'racist/xenophobic/immoral/j ust plain nasty Ala immigration laws recently enacted.The news anchor/commentator was 110% pro-amnesty,and had several 'immigrant rights'/'community organizers'(oddly,they all had Hispanic names) on show.To my puzzlement/anger,one of the guests was,according to the on-screen graphic,a naturalized American citizen who SPOKE VIA AN INTERPRETER.Excuse me? Isn't the ability to speak and write English a requirement of naturalization?
Screw the culture that affords me the right to speak in a public forum without fear-I ain't adapting.

WE don't care about the suffering of the kids? These illegal aliens are constantly told by their ignorant supporters that nothing is their fault and it is all the fault of the U.S. "racists" which is totally absurd. The illegal aliens need to start taking responsibility for their actions and for what put them in this "separation" possibility in the first place.

Where are all the newspaper stories about poor citizen families that are separated due to military service or because one of the parents committed a crime and now has to go to jail or prison? Citizen families are separated all the time and no one does the "boo hoo" dance about it.

Every story I read like this makes me want the illegal aliens out of here even more. Send them to a class about taking responsibility on top of deporting their sorry arses.

The only people who stand to benefit here are people who are doing harm to American citizens and taxpayers.

We don't need them and if they take issue with our laws, they can stick it.
