Aaron Ingram and Clint Larson confronted a New Ulm student in the men's john. Another blackeye for WHS!

Considerable taunting occurred between the spectators on both sides during the game. The taunting helped precipitate the incident. The night was surely a black eye for WHS. It was also a black eye for the New Ulm administration for allowing the verbal abuse and gesturing between the two student bodies. The situation should have been addressed long before the punches flew. I can only imagine the words that flew in the john before the fists did.

Why do schools read the MSHL sportsmanship pledge and then allow their student bodies to taunt the opposing spectators, and worse yet yell obscenities towards the athletes on the floor? This question does not apply only to New Ulm, but most schools.

We as parents need to tell our school administrators to take a stand. We as parents must be willing to tell kids to shape up--even if they are not our kids. If not, are we any less guilty than the kids who beat the crap out of the kid?

I also heard that both student bodies were out of control. BUT it doesn't justify the two Waseca boys doing what I heard they did. I hope the Waseca administrtion disciplines them. This can't happen again regardles. What if anything is going to happen to the two?

Like father, like grampa', like son. A little anger management in order, you suppose? Don't these people get sick of picking on defenseless people? I hope that they are investigating this and not get swept under the rug!

I agree Bounty. Let's wait and see how it's handled by the school.

Sounds like the Larson kid has issues! I hope the school leaders deal with this?!?! They should treat this Larson like they treated the other Larson last year.

Well we all know that Tink won't let that happen. I see he got the Waseca County News to drop all the comments from the story.

Boomer-I wondered why the comments weren't there any more. This site will be next?!?!? I hope Rokke and Shafer have the ***** to suspend the Larson kid from hockey and baseball.

So that is why the County News dropped the comments after the article? Tell me-what is going to happen to the kid? Is he still in school?

I can't say I have positive proof that he was the one but it sure fits the pattern. Ultimately its the kid that pays the price. If you keep getting bailed out of trouble how do you learn to change your behavior.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aquarius

This is another day when financial matters cause trouble, as Mars reverses in your seventh house. What started off as a minor niggle with a partner or an opponent yesterday could now escalate into a full-blown row, but at least this will give you the chance to get certain things out into the open. Legal issues from the past may become ugly. If you're pointing the finger of blame at someone, don't get so heated that you accuse them of everything under the sun.
