I actually feel sorry for this guy, mainly because the media is only reporting half the story. Essentially what happened here was that he sold some of his own cattle to someone on credit that he had done business with multiple times in the past. He was never paid for the cattle, but the person who "bought" them had borrowed the money to pay for them, using the cattle as collateral. That person however, used the money elsewhere. Then the cattle came back into one of his sales barns to be sold again. At this point, he kind of lost it and removed the cattle. Yes the cattle were technically under the court's control, but they also were in a very real sense his as well as he was never paid for them. I know how the law reads in this case, and he should not have done what he did, but 188 animals at about $700 each amounts to a loss of over $130,000, whith no hope of recovery through legal channels. I'm not sure what I would do in this case.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Cancer

It's a sensational Full Moon in your sign, combined with a lunar eclipse! Holy cow! However, once you accept that even the best-laid plans could go awry today, you'll find that life is a lot easier to cope with. Try your hardest to take everything in your stride, even if you do have to rethink an arrangement at the eleventh hour. At least it's never a dull moment! Do your best not to let the tensions of the day spoil what promises to be some spectacular New Year's Eve celebrations. It will be an opportunity to let off steam. Have fun!
