I don't know how this young man "plea bargained" his charges all the way down to "paying restitutuion." At the same time, I know he has four (yes, FOUR) little kids and this fact was probably woven into the fabric of his hearing. I was appalled to learn of this deceit thrown up on young women who need help. Obviously, so does Larry Clang. Criminals are MADE, not born. I can only hope his young family can recover and go about their lives.

I am so sorry for those of you who suffered at the hands of Larry Clang. He DOES have FOUR kids now (know him and his family personally). I agree his wife should be involved in the punishsment but not even her name was mentioned in the newspapers and I thought it was perhaps because she really DIDN'T know anything about what he was doing. I agree he should pay by going to prison but doubt he will. Again, I am so sorry for those of you he hurt.

Larry, aka Lars, is a pathetic human being. I, too, know him personally and I could tell something wasn't right about this guy within two seconds of meeting him. This isn't his worst offense people. He doesn't have an honest, decent bone in his body. Hopefully, all his lies and extracurricular activities outside the home will catch up to him someday.

The newspaper said a "spokesperson" for Boys Town had reimbursed all the women from whom he had stolen. Is this not the case? Are there still young women out there who have NOT been reimbursed?? I think it is a horrible misscarriage of justice that he won't go to prison IF he can pay restitution to Boys Town. BUT, since his wages have been garnisheed since 2004 for "civil" problems totalling more than $20,000 I doubt he will make it. I am so sorry for the girls. Also, where does Boys Town get off labeling him as a "teacher????" He barely made it through high school let alone college!!!!
