Activists worried about immigration raid in Waterloo

Just curious...Why do illegal immigrants fight so hard for rights in the US when - if they fought that hard in their own country, they could have a United States for themselves?

Because down there, I'm pretty sure, at this point, it would require an armed resolution. Things have just been set in too long for marching to do much.
And nobody has guns except the soldiers and drug cartels.

Now why we don't intervene and do a changing of the guard via a political coup or similar like we do everywhere else remains a mystery.

How much industry have we moved south of the border? I'll bet part of the reason lies with that and NAFTA.

Plus, it is easier to fight someone you do not share a border with - or even just support a political coup.

who cares if the Feds are in town? If you are not here illegally than you should be fine. If you are illegal, than you placed yourself and your family in a bad position.
