Review: Clinical Psychology Svc - Reuben T Spitz PHD

Before you make an appointment with this guy, check the numerous 'STATEMENTS OF CHARGES' the Connecticut Department of Public Health has on this guy. 3 complaints that are a matter of public record, a sexual assault investigation with the Waterford Police Department and numerous malpractice filings. Not to mention he is affiliated with one of the worst mental health facilities in the entire state of Connecticut (his ordered probation is that he practice under the supervision of another provider, that said provider is a member of a facility that Spitz family donated millions to...objective point of view? um, no.)

The good Doc, offered marital therapy to a couple, seduced the wife, had an affair with the wife of that patient (Spitz was married as well)...shared private and protected information about 3 or 4 of his patients to his mistress...who was ALSO A PATIENT. And when the husband found out, filed a complaint with the DPH, he them immediatly asked the patient he was sleeping with to refute the charges..one he had the paper he forced the woman he was sexually abusiing, he dropped her by sending her an email.

In Connecticut, it is SEXUAL ASSAULT when you have a sexual relationship with a patient...

The pattern of behavior did not stop with her...he tried with other woman as well.

All public information...all of it.

Random question...why is it that so many people on food stamps are obese? One would think that people on food stamps who dont have jobs..are poor and can not afford to over-eat??? Their kids are often morbidly obese as well....
