Yeah, that's what I get for listening to the rumor mill. I'm guessing you've heard all you're going to of this.

Law enforcement in Mifflin County can't tell the difference between a sneeze and a wet fart let alone solve a double homicide. If it isn't obvious enough for a toddler to figure out, don't count on them.

This will go on forever, because law enforcement in this area is more worried about who keyed who's car, who's hanging out past ten and who's speeding.

Even if they do make an arrest, the criminals will probably plea bargain for a lesser count. Look at the Bryner case.

The "system" in this county is the biggest joke around. If this happened in Juniata, Huntingdon, Snyder or Centre County, something would have happened by now.

The problem is, all these clowns (police, DA, Public Defenders) are on the buddy system around here. They golf together, their kids play sports etc. together so they don't have that aggressiveness that you see in larger areas where its not two buddies facing each other in a courtroom. Sure, you can bring in new faces but they'll be from the same pool of people, so why bother?

Why dont you shut up and mind your own business....until you know all the FACTS! Obviously your not part of Jason or Sherry's family, so unless you think you could help...dont discourage the help of others( law officers)...And another thing I'll tell you why to bother with it....2 innocent ppls lives were takin from them. 5 children don't have their mother 3 grandkids dont have a grandmother and last but not least 2 sets of parents lost their babies to some SELFISH asshole...so until you can figure out this case sherlock don't push anyone away that is willing to help

Not sure who you're talking to, but if its me I wasn't discouraging the help of anybody. And I have said multiple times on this board over the last year that I sympathize with and send my deepest condolences to all family members and friends affected by this tragedy.

I too am deeply moved by the tragedy this family has dealt with 'Lost without you.' But JunkE is correct. And if you don't believe him I'll dig up some Paul Harvey radio transcripts...He announced on national radio that if you want to commit and get away with murder go to Mifflin County, Pa.

They [law enforcement] know the sick sob that did this, they just can't find their way out of a dam paper bag to pin it on him.

FYI*** Mifflin County State Police ARE NOT the only ppl invovled with this case.(which goes to show you don't have the facts) Our families have faith that soon justice will be served and that my "friend" is what keeps our families going. You say you are deeply moved by the tragedy my family is going thru...Stop the negativity. The "hancock-Leonard" family just lost another VERY important person in their family and I feel that all the horrible Nasty comments that have been made in the pass year contributed to Mr. Hancocks health. SO, until you walk in their shoes...think before you speak(or type). Dig all you want "concerned citizen" & "JUNKE"...My family doesnt want to hear it. I also believe that people on this page are not here for the best interest of our families. Shame on all of you for making this just a little bit harder for us.

I am sorry for your loss 'lost without you.' I want YOU to understand however that I know the pain the Speicht family is suffering first hand. You lost someone yes, but the Speicht family also did.

Also, you do not have the market cornered on an unsolved crime. And you have no idea what shoes I for one have walked in. I completely understand the anger which has been coming out in your posts, and I would never suggest to keep your anger in. What YOU must understand is that there are many unanswered questions, as well as an unsolved crime which people have the right to discuss. Please stay off this board if the discussions anger or upset you.

BUT please understand the "hancock-leonard" family are not the only family suffering - The Speight family are also in deep pain because there were two people killed in this brutal insane murder - one of them with the last name Speight.

I've apologized to all of the family members several times for my initial comments on this case and have passed my condolences along more than once. Leave me out of this, you're just beating a dead horse.

Consider yourself out Junke!

BUT, if people of Mifflin County do not have a forum as such to discuss issues, especially unsolved horrific crimes such as this one, where else can they go. By continuing to discuss and ask questions is the only tool the public has in order to insure 'Justice For All.'

First of all you cant even spell SPECHT right. So, you must not be that close to the family...and my heart breaks for them bc I too know how they feel....and I saw the agony on Jason's mothers face and his brothers- Do you understand that this is our life now...and when ppl make unnecessary comments...i.e. "you"...you make it just a lil bit harder...so if you think you need to SPEAK YOUR MIND - about OUR (SPECHT LEONARD HANCOCK FAMILIES) situation you pick the phone up and call Trooper Aiello or Trooper Cramer and tell them what your thoughts/opinions truly are. Just for the record I will continue to return to this site...daily- to make sure my mother is not the butt of your conversations...and furthermore... don't tell me to stay off of here...and as for your unanswered questions....Every question I had was answered my Aiello & Cramer.....Call them I'm sure they would be more than willing to chat with you. Also, if you would like the number I can give it to you to. So, I'm assuming you get where I am coming from....thanks!

Yep, puzzled is correct, I am angry. Angry that this case will go to the cold case files.'Mean,' well after what I've seen in my long lifetime, I don't really care who I am speaking or writing to or my response when dealing with people to get enjoyment out of taunting people.

AS for the spelling of Jason's family, thank you for the correction. BUT a special thanks for including them in the families hurting that you always post.

What I find the most purplexing about your anger is the defense of law enforcement in what they have done to solve this crime. They of course care about two dead bodies, and the hurt families, but we still have no official suspect although they, many from your family, and the Specht family know who it is.

Don't direct your anger at someone who wants this case solved such as me, direct it to the people who could possibly step forward to help solve this case

Really....you are something else. If my family and I knew who did this do you think that the case would still be open...(I'm guessing your not the brightest crayon in the box)....Apparently you think you know a thing or two. So again...CALL trooper Aiello or Trooper Cramer.
Since your soooo concerened maybe you could help???? I'm going to assume you have NOT contacted anyone??? Your angry!?!?! My son no longer has his mawmaw...my daughter will never see my mother's beautiful face...I look at my grandmother, my aunts and my great aunt... my heart breaks b/c theres something empty about them..My grandfather died of a broken heart....I sit and watch my sisters and my brother and they can barely function...let alone my neice and nephew. I lost my mother- my comfort my bestfriend...I lost my heart. Still concerned citizen!?!?!...Pick the darn phone up and call someone if you are that sure you know a thing or two. P.S Puzzled is sooo right...ur a TREAT;)

I would pick the phone up to call said officers but they can't release nor arrest this guy without proof. If you are truly in the family, you would kNow who this individual is. Or if you are in the family, you are in denial of who it is.

Too be quite honest I am "puzzled" why an individual such as yourself is so angered over someone asking questions about this case. If I were a relative or close friend, I would hope the questions never stop without someone apprehended.

I'm glad you have a place to vent, to show your anger and your hurt. But damn it, someone in one of these families speak up before this murderer kills someone else. It already appears there has been more than one or two murders within one of the families you represent. And if there is, the blood will be on who is covering for this individual.

...And btw what do you mean by your "mother" being the butt of these conversations. I have never mentioned your mother.

All I can say is that I'll pray for you and your families that you will feel God's love and peace, and that justice will be served.

Its in HIS HANDS.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Taurus

The current planetary influences tend to make everyone groan a bit. Life is not perfect and may be less pleasant than usual, but what can you do? Get real for one thing! That's the way it is and once you accept this, everything becomes much easier to handle. Be solid and dutiful - qualities for which the Bull is renowned - and you'll come out the other side with your halo polished. Focus on some undeveloped potential in your life and take the first steps towards realising it.
