Hope he gets his ride. if I were traveling these routes i would take him a long and deliver him safely to his new home. Godd luck, Darby. Some one who loves pets also will step up having the time. maybe someone who is laidoff and has time to spend. that would brighten their day doing a good deed.

why don't they just put him on an airplane? when my friend got her dog she went to the airport and picked it up.

Is it a male or female dog? The other day, I saw a female dog towing a male dog down the street. Possibly this may be solution to getting the doggie to its destination. Just my opinion.

Exactly. What makes this dog so special that it requires a high ranking article submission to ask for help transporting it?

I'm sure sick kids needing special treatments in far off places could use the help of volunteers to transport them to those locations, too. I rarely see articles requesting transportation for them.

I remember an old friend who used to foster rescue dogs...she took a dog all the way out to Breezewood to meet a couple from Pittsburgh and when she got there, THEY DIDN'T WANT THE DOG ANYMORE! So, she took it back home with her and kept it. She gave up on fostering shortly after that. I just hope that these people got the money up front!
