Teen agers drivers in Connecticut and car insurance
Why do we penalize our youth for being young?
When a teenager gets his or her license, we charge them high rates for car insurance.
Why???, I say WHY???

well , because the Powers That Be say : teen drivers are not safe drivers.
This is discriminatory.
The " Powers That Be" say: statistics prove young drivers are bad drivers. Just look at the facts : they speed, they drink and drive, they are careless, they are generally bad drivers so let's charge them high car insurance rates.
Is this how we treat our people, especially our young people?
We say we want to say lives, so we impose curfews, extra laws etc. etc. to help our youth. In Connecticut laws have been revised and known to keep down teen age driver incidents.

Let's do a positive thing, and instead of penalizing all young drivers, because of a certain few bad drivers, let's give all a fresh start a chance to prove themselves.

I say give them a chance.
Isn't this America? the land of Opportunity??
Well, let's give our youth the opportunity to prove themselves.
I do not have a fact sheet with me, but I'm sure you know a teen age driver that IS RESPONSIBLE and a very good driver. I know some..

I think it would be illegal to allow insurance companies to charge a teen age high rates. Wouldn't you??
Sure it is a privilege to drive, but why do teens have to be ripped off. Give teens a chance.

Give parents of these teens who might be helping with the insurance payments a motive to convince their son or daughter to drive carefully and they could save money.

If a certain group of people was known to drive poorly would we charge them high rates?? Of course not because some "rights" group would be on some body's case in a hear beat.

What do you think??

Don't you think our youth should be given a chance to prove themselves?? I do.

Let's stop the discriminatory practice of charging a new teen age driver high rates...
It should be against the law..........
