1981 Happy Valley church double murder

Does anyone remember this murder? Carolyn Janice Parks and Rex Allen Higgins were shot execution style on June 3,1981? We would still like to have closure for the family.

Remember it like it was yesterday miss Rex BAD!! Janices husband Earl Parks hired the murder was supposed to be only Rex but Janice was with him so they took her too understand that part drove Earl crazy the murderers cane from one county picked Rex and Janice up in Greene Co. they took them to the church in Carter Co. and shot them in broad daylight was probably 7 or 8 as I remember throws a lot of confusion into it neither county wants to handle the case and it looks like no one did the law knows who did it and if they dont now thats a scary thought maybe people in Cocke County have a lot of pull who else has got the cajones to talk? anyone?
