He gets probation and can not live with pets for 2 years what the hell is wrong with our system how about he goes to jail and when he gets out he has to clean dog and cat poop at a shelter for 2 years.

In fact in China they domesticate them and even sleep with them. So In china it must be rice>Rats>Pig>OX> then people? where is Darwin when you need him. Hello Brokenwing, I haven't seen your name here for awhile. When I did I just thought I would say hello :) I did look up Kenneth Douglas. Very sad. Also sad is what you said about Americans needing to stick together. When I was a young boy, America I knew, was great. I don't know if we can ever be whole again. A Russian big shot says he thinks our country will break up. Many years ago I think our people would have said "screw that" and united to show him to be wrong. While I'm not a vegetarian, I eat very little meat.Guess what, folks-every bite of meat you put into your mouth came from a living breathing animal. Cow, steer, veal calf,(ever see one of those?),deer, rabbit,squirrel, pig, dog, cat, rat, chipmunk etc. Not to mention fish, lobster, shrimp, mussels, oysters,clams, and on and on. They are all living creatures and we kill them and eat them. So what is the big deal about the cat-unless it was someone's pet and was done for spite. Oh yes, horses are food in some countries. So disband the lynch mob and get real.
