Sounds like some promising proposals are in the offering. I'm glad the democrats are together on these issues. A strong domestic auto industry is in the best interest of our nation. CAFE, EPA, NHTSA, fair trade policy and currency exchange rates are key to a healthy industry. The diversity of proposals is the way to effectively legislate meaningful improvement in energy conservation, pollution and safety standards. Subsidies will speed up the process also. Thanks for a rational policy in these areas of concern.
