7 Dead After Drag Racing Crash

PG has to work on the speeders.

The area around Kettering has all those middle class kids speeding on motorcycles like a house of fire.

Somebody is going to get killed!

Street racing is so stupid, what a waste. If you want to race, race at a track. Racing can be a great adrenalin rush and fun to watch, but please do it at a drag track!

I woke up to this story and heard a woman who was there with her 61 year old father - at 3:40am - say they were watching the "race" in which her father was subsequently killed. This indicates an obviously a lack of logic and common sense - which cost this man his life - on both their parts. Also, surely the police knew that this area was popular for these kinds of races. Shouldn't they have been out there on a Friday night ensuring the safety of the idiot rookie racers AND the folks just trying to get home?

MAYBE IF THE COPS WOULD BE CHECKING THE ROADS OUT FOR SPEEDERS INSTEAD OF THOSE FRESH DONUTS AT 7-11..THIS MIGHT NOT OF HAPPENED?

My heart and prayers goes out to the families of the 7 who died. To those who witnessed this event, lesson learned. To others in the past who may have been envolved in street drag racing, (YOU CAN LOOSE YOUR LIFE FOR MINUTES OF EXCITEMENT). Your Life (YEARS) is not a even trade for (MINUTES) of excitement. Young people be careful of your decisions. Take control of your life, Don't let what you call life take control of you.

I am the Secretary of the Bad Boyz Street Road Club out of Indian Head, MD and we strongly advise everyone not to dray race on local highways. This is a sad day for everyone that was injured, present and there family members. My heart and prayers goes out to everyone. I hope this is a wake up call to everyone that drag race and watch drag racing on the streets. Budd Creek will be opening in March and that the place they need to be.

To those of you who want to blame the police: do you really think there would have been a race if the police were anywhere around? These people have lookouts. Put the blame where it belongs, with the dumb, inconsiderate racers. And NYWILL - do you have an original bone in your body? 7-11 donut police jokes are old. Come up with something new - like Starbucks and crullers.

What happen to not posting inappropriate comments. If you can write anyone positive don't respond on this subject. If you are one of the people who heart didn't not go out to the victims and their families may you need GOD in you life. I am asking that everyone that has time to read about this accident take time out of their busy day just to say a prayer for the victims, their families and any and everyone that was effect in some kind of way.
MAY GOD BLESS EVERYONE, because everything happens for a reason. This time it happen to have been a sad reason.

If you don't feel sorry for the victims and/or their families, then I feel SORRY for YOU........
People make bad decision everyday, this time it cost 7 lives and many families suffering. By the way it is still early and the total truth has not come out. We don't know if one or more of the victims were driving home from work or other special reason for being their.
I would like to thank everyone that said a prayer for the 7 lives that was lost and keep on prayer. Some how their will be a change from this.
