Where to watch Fourth of July fireworks | The Cecil Observer

When a sparkler just won’t cut it and you need a dose of flash and bang for the Fourth of July, hop in the family vehicle and haul everybody to one of the fireworks shows in our area. They’re all free, and several have the added bonus of being held at scenic waterfront locations. It’s also much safer than watching Uncle Bob set off bottle rockets in the back yard. Here at The Observer, one of our favorite fireworks venues is Chestertown.

Our family watched fireworks in NJ, Ohio and now in Maryland.Through the years, it was the best time we shared as a family. Now, a couple of years to go before my retirement, I can now enjoy them here in Elkton. Many of the restaurants are wheelchair/scooter accessible. Thanks for making a middle aged couple who met in Ohio, happier in Elkton
