Does anyone know what the best thrift stores are in warsaw? I like the one near dairy queen called nifty thrifty. I think it is like an indoor yard sale. Have you been to that one? What are some other good ones?

There's the one out on US 30 across from Shell Gas Station that's called Christmas and Collectibles. It houses old Hallmark, wedding, paper goods, like cards, etc...It's really nice. You can get Cherished Teddies there if you collect those. The one past Dairy Queen is a branch off of the small grocery store that's there. They have clothes, sunglasses, tools, everything really. It's very reasonably priced, too! There's a Target outlet across the road from McDonald's on 15. It gets new stuff every week. Clothes, bedding, household supplies, etc... school supplies, teacher stuff....very nice.

I like Goodwill though I only go on the 50% off days. They charge too much on regular days. I have gotten all my kids clothes there as well as many other things.

thisisfun,
I think you are thinking about Shermin & Lins. I mean the one in the shopping center right next to Dairy Queen. They are having a sale this saturday for their new location. They were in the old laundry mat but moved a couple doors down from the pawn shop. It is mostly new stuff. I think it is a nice store. Actually, it is my favorite store right now. FE, I think Goodwill is high on some stuff. But, the baby stuff is pretty cheap. You should check out Nifty Thrifty. They have a lot of cute kids clothes there. I get stuff for my kids there. There prices sort of depend on what the item is. Because they sell used stuff and new stuff. So, like a used t-shirt might cost 50 cents,$1 or $2, but a new t-shirt is usually over half off the store tag. I got a new shirt for myself there that was something like $8.99 new and they had $2.50 on it. They have some new stuff that cost more like $6-$8 dollars. But, the retail on those items are closer to $20. They have a lot of neat jeans there. It's not just clothes though. Is the one in Syracuse still around... the church one Methodist thrift store? |
