Oh, com'on, it's obvious. The guy's an opportunist, just looking for the chance to benefit from someone's error.

He should be ashamed of himself for such behavior.

It's a mighty good thing he wasn't bending over to pick up the spill.

Had the ramrod been 'left in the barrel' the fellow would've been speared right through his leg. I'll venture a guess that this was, indeed, a freak accident. Of course, post-litigation, the victim will own Fort Henry someday.

The ramrod WAS left in the barrel! The forts cannon demo uses a relatively small charge. The ramrod normally would shatter under a heavy load , in this case the charge was enough to send some or all of it some 200 yards to where this guy was sitting. I grew up in the area ,the distance from where they fire to the lake is about that far. If it did break up in pieces I'm amazed no one was hurt more seriously.

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Virgo

Home is where your heart is, so stay there today if you can. Surround yourself with your loved ones, even if you're all slumped on the sofa in front of the TV. If you love cooking, you'll get sweet satisfaction from shutting yourself in the kitchen, and either producing a delicious meal or creating some Christmas food that can live in the freezer till you need it.
