1 I am so sorry about the loss of your best friend. Tim was actually a friend of mine, but believe me, there is no defense for him on my part. I didn't know Chris too well, but he seemed to be a very happy young man. The story touched my heart, and my deepest prayers go out to his family and friends, including you. |

1 But you know something maybe as messed up as the town PD is there in Haverhill you would think they would know all the criminals or could it be they are thier friends and cannot arrest them because it might effect thier criminal activities!!!!!! What ever it might be everyone is watching this case and many more that the Haverhill PD is involved in. My best wish's go out to all the families that are suffering because of what has happened there especially to the Gray family and all Chris's friends and relitives!! |

are they all still in jail?
|
||||
|
Yes they are all still in Grafton...
For now anyway, and I can see for a while longer anyway...Plea hearing on September 28, 2009 for 2 of the 4..but that still does not send them to state prison this is just the arraignment...A chance for them to plead GUILTY or not guilty... Then we have to wait, again for how ever long it takes to either go to trial or get a sentencing date... Maybe some will be on their way to the State prison on Chris's one year anniversary. October 7, 2009. RIP Chris...

I read the article in today's Union Leader and it stated that Anthony was being charged with second degree murder. He was initially charged with hindering prosecution if I remember correctly. Did they bump his charge up to murder (as it should be) or is it a misprint?
I'm keeping my finger's crossed that all involved with be found guilty and sent to "big people" prisons. How horrible that people could purposely kill someone; especially when a couple of the killers had a son who was under a month old at the time. What is the matter with these people?! So sad that they didn't put their son's well being first. Chris is resting in Paradise now, and hopefully justice will be served soon. |

Yes his charges were bumped to Second Degree, Conspiracy to commit and hindering apprehension. Tim has had Conspiracy to commit and hindering apprehension in addition to the original charge of Second degree and Amber has had Second Degree murder added to her Conspiracy charge. So all have been bumped...BUT not to 1st degree...

Monday, September 28th, 2009 is also 4 years since
Tom C. was murdered. What this means is really nothing....but, a same day in Grafton Court for pleas regarding Christopher G. perhaps is a calling of some kind regarding local crimes and justice. |
||||
So glad the charges were all bumped up. 1st degree murder is premeditated murder, which is, what I feel they all should be charged with. The recorded phone evidence should be able to support this theory, at least for Mike and Amber anyway. My guess is that it may be coming, but they need to have a solid case to assure a conviction. It's easier to add charges if needed. Anyway, I know that Mike got moved to the prison, but it says on the inmate locator that he's due for parole on 9/26/09. I hope that isn't correct. http://www4.egov.nh.gov/Inmate_Locator/Defaul... Also, I was unable to locate Amber, Tim or Anthony on the site. Not sure why. Anyway, I'll check back to see if anyone updates after the arraignment. As we approach the 1st anniversary (that may not be the most appropriate word, I'm sorry) of Chris's death I will be keeping his family and friends in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully at this time next year all 4 killers will be serving very very long sentences. |

Isn't it less than a half a mile between TC's mothers home and where CG was brutally murdered?
|

You can not find the others on the inmate locator because they are not in state prison. When they get to state prison you will be able to find them..
For sure they could have gotten 1st but, as you said they have to have some room to move to get them to testify against each other...

I cannot believe that the murderers have a chance to have their sentences reduced if they get their GED and an education in prison! What the heck is wrong with the NH judicial system?! They planned and killed a defenseless man in cold blood! Who gives a shit if they get an education?! They should have gotten an education instead of planning to murder Chris. The sentences were messed up. Just plain screwed up.

Guardian, I meant to ask if you know when they will go to state prison? Is it when they get formally sentenced or today? Will all the guys go to the same prison?
Thanks for keeping us updated! |

About the GED and the educational component here...Let's face it, at some point they are going to get out..a 40 year sentence is a long time or even a possible life sentence to someone who is 40 but to a 18-23 yr old it is not. When they come out they will still be on Parole and will be monitored. With out some sort of education, they will be even more of a burden on our society and community. They will not have worked so they will not be eligible for Social security, so who is going to pay for them to live, if they do not pick up some sort of trade while they are there? I too feel that getting the opportunity to have the education seems strange but, if they are going to sit in there don't, you think they should be doing something other then learning how to commit more crime and suck more resources out of our State?
|

who is TC?
|
||||

They will NOT go to state prison until the are formally sentenced...that will not happen until Robie either pleas or goes to trial...So as of right now, they are all still in GCDOC

I know what you mean about when they get out and having an education and I absolutely should they all get GED's and an education, however my anger is that they will actually get 5 years (in Amber's case) off of their jail time for getting an education. I'm wondering why they weren't just told to get an education, GED, etc while they were in there and use it as a requirement for their release after doing their entire sentence. I don't think they should have agreed to reduce their sentence. What they got wasn't even enough time. |
