Warren Police Officers

Hi!

Me and my husband were listening to our scanner...when we heard one of the police officers stop a guy that had been stopped a few mornings ago here in town. They ran his lic.# and d.o.b. and the vin# to the car he was driving. The car came back to somebody else, and this guy has a suspended license. I've seen people whose names were in the Eagle paper for being arrested for this same thing. Not this guy!! Do our police officers play favorites? Personally I think they do. What do yall think??

Growing up I always heard..."It depends on who you know"! So I guess in the wrong situation and the right time that is very TRUE! Sad!!

Karen, You're fine - Banks is close enough! You don't have to live in Warren to post on the board.
The message to Paradox was not because of where he/she lives, it is because he/she keeps posting the same website to different threads.

I am from Bradley County and have lived in North West Arkansas since 1992. Graduated from Hermitage in 1975. Sometimes I wonder what happened to the cops that were around back then.

They are probably in jail or prison.

I have family in Warren and when my cousin was shot the police took their sweet time getting the person who did it cause it was their friend...The shooter lived in town and even talked to his close police friend..they suck if ya ask me.

Who was your cousin? How long ago was this?

I know that there are some/most on Warren police force that play favorites,or look the other way for some people,when wrong is wrong no matter who you are!!If your going to get one you should get em all-treat fairly and equal.There are a few on force that are crooked!!!

I ws borned in Warren, Arkansas, gradurated from Warren High, married a guy from warren, moved to Texas for the last 40 years, now that I have recently lost my husband, I find myself wanting to come home to Warren. I am afaid after all these years of being out of touch with the hometown people. I would like a job in the Library since that is what my profession. what about it hometown gang, can this ole gal make it in my old hometown, or do I stay here in the big city being misserable!!!

The Cops in Warren, where should I start. Yes they are as croocked as the day is long, not just the city, the County is just as bad. If you have a known last name, a friend on the force, or willing to put them on your pay roll, you have it made. But, then again, the State Police we have here aren't any better. In the case of two traffic MURDERS, they ruled as no fault, and the two drivers never got the first ticket. Just 2 dead teenage boys, both the age of 19. They never even gave the two murders a traffic ticket. We had proof, they wouldn't even look at it. What is going on in this sorry town. They need to get rid of every one of them and send in a crew from another town, that these last names won't mean anything to them. Local politics wouldn't let them do their job even if they wanted to. I wouldn't advise anyone to move to this excuse of a town. I would leave in a minute, but my ageing parents are here and need me close. Good Bless us all, and pray we never need the cops for anything!!

It's notjust the new ones, the old ones have been doing it for years.

I heard that Kathy Hall was cited for 3rd Degree Battery for being in a fight at the funeral home> Now thats the kind of leadership we need at the Hospital! YOU go girl!!!

when we talk about the warren police department we have to make sure it doesn't get heard by one of them. all the cops and deputies in this town are on the take. i have seen with my own eyes cops pulling over teenagers with pot on them and i don't mean a little bag but a quart bag half full all they did was dump it out and let them go and yes it is who you are and who you know around here. also with this town we have bootleggers but there is more alchol consumed by the people who want to keep this town dry than there is by others, why do you think the country club is here. and go to hampton to buy alchol and you meet up with people who you see in church preaching to others about drinking. so what i have to say is this let the county go wet and then the cops wouldn't be getting a cut from the bootleggers or the drug pushers. hell justgo ahead and legalize pot and get it over with.now in some states they have let people grow up to 6 plants for personal use, and we worry about alchol and pot, look at your prescription medication and know teens will help themselves to it before they will pot and booze

i have seen the warren police officers espically one black one trying to chat up young 16 to 25 year old girls for sex. and he had the nerve to run for sheriff of this county. he thinks that because he is wearing a badge it gives him the right to try to get laid by anyone willing. just let him try with some young underage girl who has a father that will take care of him. and yes warren is about who you are and what you know about the town so called police and sheriff deputies. when we need the police where are they? most of the time driving the cars and trucks that we as tax paying citizens have to pay for and using the gas in them to take people or family to the stores and such. and then we wonder why this town is going to hell in a hand basket. open your eyes people and get rid of the good old boys type of politics and get someone who will clean up this town and make it more inviting for more businesses and people to move here.
and get something here for the kids to do instead of having to go spend money out of town we could spend it here. like we used to have a drive in and race track skating rink and such now we don't. a pool hall for people who don't drink would be nice and last of not least let this town go wet so we can spend our money here for it instead of going out of town. if you don't like the idea of that why do you think they built the country club for. most members of it are upstanding in the community but i have seen them so drunk that it was shameful. and most smart people would stay at home and drink and keep off the roads but these people don't. and get the ins down here to get rid of all the illegal mexicans. i believe that the ones here legal is fine but the others need to go back to mexico and stay there that's why there aren't enough jobs here for the young because of them and the people that hire them fine the hell out of them and make them pay for it
