Income for the state is down then maybe it is time to lay people off until funds go up again. I say this a sad way but today I saw 8 Ga. DOT people working on one manhole cover.. I think this is overkill for a manhole cover..
If homestead is gone until gross income for the state is backup 3% over inflation then maybe it is time to let a few people go... You can not have it both ways, At some point you have to make the tough choices, The only thing you do not cut is Police, Fire and other emergency people, You need them to respond to emergencies..But of course Our Government leaders need to take a cut also on there pay and travel expenses. But that will never happen.. |
