Teenager, Sam Callow of Wareham Dies Jan. 11

2 of my Cousins knew her. She was visiting them recently in Cromesett. They are devastated by her passing,as are many students at WHS. I hope the Police weren't chasing her for a long period of Time. Many Police forces around the Country are trying to move away from Prolonged Police chases,as they many times cause accidents & Deaths. Chances are they probably should have let her Go. I Pray that she is in Heaven w/God & Jesus & enjoying Great reunions w/Dearly Departed Relatives & Friends. May God Bless her Soul. God Bless. Amen.

Don't really know the family - but know of them. Tragic situation. Very, very sad. My family - and others in the neighborhood - were devastated at this news. Our thoughts and prayers are with her parents and younger brother.

It is tragic beyond words that 15 year old Sam took her parents car without permission and drove it illegally without a license, without a seatbelt, witout headlights and then failed to stop for an officer who was trying to stop a driver violating several laws.

The accident is under investigation so it is not clear if there was anyting that could be considered a chase.

Sam was behind the wheel and Sam made all the decisions on the roughly 3 mile drive from her home to the accident scene.

Staying home, or stopping for the officer would have been better decisions.

Each person is responsible for the choices they make. Be sure to make good choices.

I knew her for many years. we were'nt ''friends'' persay but we looked out for each other. Everytime some one would make fun of me or something she'd say something about that person. And every one would laugh. I really hope she's in a happy place. I feel so horrible for her family. I just hope they get through this.
