hey yall dont drop your money in the drop off box they juat cut my shi..! off !! without notice, said that they didnt get my payment cost me 200.00$ to get back on . somebody is pocketing the money or someones getting it out.. ever wonder why you sont get a rec. when you use the drop box!??? so wheres tbe money going. i will use cash in person from now on.. fuc! that stupid shit!!

Ward water dept sucks!!!! I have lived at the same place for 6 years and have never gotten a water bill for less than $85. I don't know another town in central Arkansas that charges that much! I wonder where that money is going. They could easily over charge us and what are we going to do about it?????!!!! It is not like I can choose a different water carrier! I would not doubt one bit that your money was stole.

Good luck with the mayor. I have tried to get many things done in this town with no success. I love Ward, but when it comes to the city officials doing their job, they fail miserably! It is my husband, 2 small children and myself and our water bill is always $100.00 or more. My husband knows how to do plumbing so he checked for any possible leaks that would be causing this, but we had none. I just don't understand how one month my bill will be $75, then the next month $125, then $100. We do nothing different. Just remember when Mayor Brookes comes up for reelection we need to go to the poles and try to change something!!!

Ward water does suck and seriously where does the money go first a hundred dollar fee which you can never get back they call a deposit. I live in an apartment with my husband and toddler my bill is always like 90 for what idk. We need to get this retard mayor and crooked cops out of ward they are ruining our town!

Happy to see that all of you see what I see. I am home grown and our city hall has gone to pot. There are about four people that run everything. The lady officer that is charged with felony theft steped down and is now working in the water department. I suppose she kept her benifits and is playing secretary now. Playing games!. They talk behind peoples backs and God I could go on and on. Can't wait to see the lot of them gone. Those people protect only their tight little group of about 4 and really don't care about the town nor the people. The mayor use to stand up to them but it seems what they say goes.

Oh since I do live in Ward never put cash in the night deposit box.

Ward water dept are nothing but crooks.... Vote me for mayor and I will fire the city staff and hire new ones and cut the water bills in half... Oh ya and fire the trash pick up guys .... I have live here 5 months and payed more for water than I did in the past year anywhere else.... Remember the last name and vote!!

Water bill this month....drum roll please.... A whopping $137!!!!! Lord Have Mercy!!!!! When is the next mayor election?????? Makes me wonder if crooks are running everything in this town, how do we know the votes are being counted fairly?? I can not wait to get a little more equity in my house so I can sell and move out of this town!!!!! When I moved here I loved this town, over the years I have come to see all the horrible problems this town and it's leaders have. Nothing will change until we get new people running EVERYTHING.

Don't forget that $130 dollar deposit that they charge but when u move u don't get it back. Now they call it a turn on fee. Damn water was already on. Where does that money go?
