Lawsuit alleges that Dick Edwards Auto Plaza scammed soldiers

You all keep talking about what a great place JC is to live and raise a family. It is looking like you might have way more than the average amount of low life’s and cheats. Maybe many of you just think it is a great place because it is all you know. I know that every city has bad people but come on. Between stupid and low life’s do you really want live there it is starting to feel kind of scummy

It could be that Dick Edward's was just trying to make extra money so they could give more money than Jim Clark or Brigg's so they could be the big Sundown Salute sponsor next year.

This lawsuit was filed over a month ago and it took a fringe Kansas City news paper to report it. The D.U. does a disservice to JC. Why doesn’t JC just buy it and call it a city news letter which is what it is. I am sorry but JC just doesn’t get it and I don’t think it ever will.

Isn't it also strange that Rick Roberts, Mr Sales Manager at Dick Edwards, was one of two people that stood up for the three stooge commissioners when they were asked to resign by Scott Johnson back in June.

The article In the Kansas City paper mentions a Dick Edwards Sales Manager named Richard Roberts that is named in the suit. Is this the same Richard Roberts that stood up at a Junction City Commission meeting and condemed Scott Johnson for asking the commissioners that caused the 200 million dollar debt to resign, but praised Rhodes,Heldstab,Tally and acted like Patty Maycroft was the greatest thing ever. I guess all the crooks stick together.

Anyone think there's a connection with Rod Pratt leaving here?

What ever dude cheating is cheating and it is wrong. People all over do lots of things does that make it right. Praying on young services man and woman who don’t have much is wrong. People who think like you are part of the problem we now have with this country. But I guess that’s ok because most people no longer have standers and honesty is a thing of the past.

You are right about one thing; No one put a gun to their head!

However, when you walk into a business you expect to be treated with fairness and honesty regardless of who you are. If it becomes the accepted standard to allow a business to cheat this country is in more trouble then I thought. The problem is, not more people stand up for what is right and allow this to go on.

How many years has it been since there was a big drug bust at Dick Edwards?

Something is funny. I have purchased three vehicles from Junction City Dick Edwards and never been treated badly. I compared prices in other towns and found my lowest price at Dick Edwards. I can only speak for myself. From being a soldier at Fort Riley to being a civilian, I have nothing but good things to say. I am not an employee or have any money ties with the dealership. Just wanted to share.
