This "man" is so pathetic. His jail time will not erase the money he owes for child support, he is merely postponing the inevitiable. This man, and I use that term loosely for he is not a real man, and men like him should be kept in jail/prison indeffinately working whatever job they can get inside and have the money go towards room and board (to eleviate the burden on taxpayers) and the owed child support. When they pay off the support owed, they can leave. If they are incarcerated for 40 years before it is paid off, then so be it. At least they won't be procreating more children they don't want to be responsible for nor will they be enjoying their life.

Actually, money these jerkoffs get goes to their "commisary" for their needs. Each day that rat's--- is there takes off a certain amount of his child support. So we pay to take care of this worthless scumbag & all he has to do is sit on his lazy butt. The worst part is that child still won't see a penny of that support; because, the government feels he paid it at the cost of his freedom. No wonder this worthless waste of air wants to pick prison. It's a free ride to him. Maybe he wants to drop the soap!!!

When we have let the FEderal Gov't tranfer most job to China&&allowed the Border to be crossed at will by illegal aliens,,what do you expect to happen???
Most people I know cannot find any ork on the BOOKs.
The State does nothing about it because they cater to illegla aliens&want them to continue providing lowcost labor.
Americas RCIH love this ,They want to pay anyone the least possible so they can keep more of "OUR"Money,,,they then pay off politicians&accounts&l awyers to avoid paying their legiimate dbt to society.
IF any employer that paid cash was IMPRISONED YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO PURSUE PARENTS FOR SUPPORT .IT WOULD BE DEDUCTED.
tHIS SAD SACK PROBABLY CAN'T MAKE $200/MUCH LESS AVOID JAIL.
seAL THE BORDER,,ARREST THE ILEGALS&CHARGE THEIR COUNTRIES FOR THE BILLS WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR MEDICAL SERVICES.

Wow, what an angry person you are ...you need help to work out your issues. A possible life sentence? It is thinking like this that has twisted the courts.

Life in prison for being a dead beat dad sounds a little harsh.

Would you say the same for dead beat mothers?

Thank you!!! Finally!! Who said that the kids are all his??? Even if only one were his, our brilliant liberal judges are making some men pay for other mens children. WTF??? What about the ho bag mom that has all of these illegitimate kids and wants everyone to pay for it, so she doesn't have to get off her lazy a$$!! How about she goes and gets a job?? Novel idea!!! There are women out there "living off" child support -- how much do you really think goes to the kids well being? NOT MUCH!!! Most of it goes to support her life style -- manicures, pedicures,$150 hair cuts, and of course her party fund!!!

Why do the fathers always get screwed?

I'd like to note that the article discusses ONE child... so referring to the "ho bag mom that has all of these illegitimate kids and wants everyone to pay for it so she doesn't have to get off her lazy a$$!! How about she goes and gets a job??"

Mia, the daughter, was his child. When you have a child you therefore take on the responsibility of helping to support the child unless a mututal agreement is legally formed releasing a parent of said responsibility. He pled guilty to the charges. SO, why did the father "get screwed"? Ask him, he is the one who PLED GUILTY.

Also, the article states that the mother was only 18 when she had Mia. Unless she enrolled in college then or has since pursued higher education... its hard in our economy to find a job where one can make ample money to live on their own, let alone support another, without education.

Calling her a ho bag with a slew of illegitamate children is unnecessary and demonstrates a lack of common sense... frankly, you just make yourself sound stupid.

Child support is not optional...if you have children support them.

It's "Vagimony" that I'm against.....don't send the money without the conjugal remuneration.

But, you have to support your kid, guy, come one already....make him work in the jail and send the money to his kids.

What a bum

Well first of there's dead beat dads then there's dad that really care and are screwed..my ex lives in florida and the courts are making him pay 2200.00 a month in child support..The court made him homeless..He's down to riding a bike to his two jobs he works just to try and make these god awful payments..He loves his kids. And is killing himself trying to pay..So i totally agree why do men always have to take the shitty end..And this is my ex-husband..lmao..

Hello everyone. I am the mother of Mia. First of all, to the jack ass who was talking about "kids" and that I need to get off my ass.. First of all, we have 1 child together. read the article. I have worked not only one job, but several in order to provide for my daughter. Now that the deadbeat is released from prison, he has paid child support, and did make the effort to catch up with his daughter after 14 years! That lasted a month! He no longer talks to her.. but thanks to his employer, he pays his support weekly. Guess soap dropping wasnt up his alley. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Someone gets in a bit of a muddle today and it could take some unravelling. For instance, they might get their wires crossed, leading to all sorts of misunderstandings. You might also encounter someone who is trying to rewrite history, perhaps because they can't bear to remember things as they really were. Should you set them straight or leave well alone?
