Greetings from Korea,
Nice article on the contributions of the Buffalo Soldiers (past and present). Hello to the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club BSMC, I wish I could have been there with you all! Good job.

It was a moving tribute to the untold heros of the southwest. Both my father and I have served in the military. My father after his retirement dedicated much time and travel researching the buffalo soldiers here in the southwest.

I honored his memory by purchasing a brick engraved with his name. The brick will be placed at the memorial along with other who have contributed to recognize and keep the history of the buffalo soldiers alive.

I salute my father and those men and women who served as buffalo soldiers.

How do you keep a people down? You 'never' let them 'know' their history.

Read some great military history.

The 7th Cavalry got their butts in a sling again after the Little Big Horn Massacre, fourteen years later, the day after the Wounded Knee Massacre. If it wasn't for the 9th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers, there would of been a second massacre of the 7th Cavalry. Read the book,‘Rescue at Pine Ridge”, and visit website/great military history, http://www.rescueatpineridge.com

This is a day for tribute, not racist and bigotry. Legends should get more respect and remembered.

Shortly after the article was published, there was a posting that was very racial and uncalled for. Looks as though it was removed (as it should have been). Thank you El Paso times!

This is a great memorial and I hope one other states will emulate. All veterans old and new, young and old deserve the recognition for giving the ultimate sacrifice for their country, not just in dying but serving when others would rather talk about the war instead of going to battle for themselves. The Buffalo Soldiers gave all when they knew they were not appreciated. I applaud the MC and my home state Texas for doing such a great thing.

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Sagittarius

Pay attention to your health as the Moon enters Taurus and your sixth house of health and service today; it might be time for a check up. With Neptune and Jupiter in your third house, nervous tension could be leading you into bad habits that will undermine your health. If you feel stressed out, reach for your athletic shoes instead of a double martini and you'll be happy with the results.
