Is the justice system going to restore the peoples' credit that this vile human stole? I wish her a lifetime of nightmares, pain and suffering.

STUDY: 22% of 2007 Felonies Caused by Illegals

Arizona taxpayers shell out $114 million annually to cover the cost of incarcerating them.

http://kfyi.com/pages/local_news.html...

A new study from the Maricopa County Attorney is showing that illegal immigrants are responsible for a disproportionate amount of crime.

Data used in the report wasn't gathered until the passage of Prop 100 two years-ago.

She should serve AT LEAST the full 12 years and then be deported.
All the bleeding hearts and greedy business owners who facilitate the illegal alien menace share the blame for the tragic death of these children as well.
What you just said, makes absolutely no sense. We are all now much dumber for reading it. Identity theft is a civil crime, not a criminal one. It never has rose to the level of homicide. Not even a little bit.

Next, if Franco is not an illegal alien, how enraged would you be if Franco, the legalized American citizen, ran a stop sign and killed 4 children? Extremely angry? Less angry? Or would it be just another story on just another news page?

What Franco did was egregious disregard for her and other people's safety.

What you are proposing is unconsciousably bigoted, seeking only to take these children's deaths and turn it into a political cause entitled, "Annihilation of Hispanics." It's damaging lynch mob mentality, and such malfeasance should not be allowed in our centers of justice.

Last, employers are not responsible for the murderous actions of their employees. I'm quite sure her employer did not say, "Hey, Ms Franco, drive a car without a license so you can come work for us." I'm 100% Franco's employer, like most employers in this country, leaving transportation to work to individual citizens, right where the responsibility is supposed to be.

Try exercising some responsibility of your own and mourn appropriately for these children.

A disproportionate amount of whites are drunks. A disproportionate amount of blacks are in jail for a variety of crime. And a disproportionate amount of women are depressed. So what, are we going to talk any of these problems, or are we just going to focus on Hispanics because Americans don't like them?

I'll ask the same question again. How mad would you be if Franco was a normal legalized American citizen? What would you say then? If your answer is the two cases are not the same, then you've just agreed to give every American motorist the right to ignore a stop sign and barrel into an on-coming school bus. Is that the burial you wish to give these children? Hey, we only care about your deaths because Franco happened to be illegal instead of hey, we really care about your deaths because some idiot, who did not know how to drive, got into a car, and killed you? What's it going to be, racism disguised as sensitive, responsible caring, or true sorrow?

Let's see, she's going to jail.

Then she'll be deported to Guatemala, which is a mess!

Her boyfriend left her and can not be found anywhere.

And, she'll have to remember this crash and the lives she took for eternity.

There is no way she will not have life long pain or suffering.

How bout remembering the victims' families? Nobody is talking about what they'd like to say to them? How about that?

Because they are different crimes/cases.

She faces the identity theft charges the instant she is released from custody, and likely will be deported instead of re-incarcerated.

Your comments do sound racially charged and are despised by supporters of the victims and their families. Don't fudge up the argument with unfair postings.

It makes complete sense. Maybe the 'dumber' was there before you read it. Also, when you're done calling everyone you disagree with racists, how about look up the united states code title 18, part 1, chapter 47, section 1028 which defines the crime of identity theft.

Got a lot of 'tude for someone who is playing loose with the facts and avoiding reasoning altoghter.

God's comfort to those families who were affected in any way by this ILLEGAL ALIEN'S criminal actions. She should get the death penalty.

By the way, Liberal Lawerence, I must have missed your heartfelt comment to the families...or do you just accuse others of "misdeeds"?

Identity theft is a "civil crime"? So if I steal your SS#, get a driver's license in your name, get credit cards in your name and run up big bills that I don't pay, it would be a wouldn't be criminal? Isn't a "crime" by definition "criminal"?

And yes, you are darn right I am more outraged about an illegal alien snuffing out the lives of 4 innocent children!

She illegally INVADED this country and killed our children! She had no right to be here and if she had obeyed our laws and stayed in her own country those children would be alive.

Illegal aliens who cause the deaths of Americans should get the death penalty...and then get deported!

I like Hispanics (I think most prefer "Latinos" these days though). I hate ILLEGAL immigration. I don't care if they are from Mexico or England.

People who violate our borders demonstrate that they have no respect for our laws. It is no wonder they commit a huge percentage of the crimes in our nation.

hey Genius, she's not even from Mexico, she's from Guatemala.
If anyone bothers to do a little research or even read the other PP articles, they'd know that vehicular deaths get low sentances. Janklow got 100 days in jail for killing someone. Most drunk drivers that kill people get around 5 years (yes, I know, they can get out earlier). So 12 years is more than double that, and she didn't go get smashed at the local bar beforehand. There was enough doubt, 12 years is plenty for being convicted for being Hispanic and illegal. If she was white and got 5 years, you'd all be saying "but she has to live with the guilt for the rest of her life!" Hope none of you ever hit anyone, or get a DUI after hitting someone, or your kids never do. At that point, you'd say "it wasn't intentional, it was a mistake!" and be happy as hell you're white and won't get 12 years.
I agree with the 'being white' comment. I also pose the question to the person worried about her being put up in a jail cell on our dollars, would you rather her be deported straight up and possibly not even put in a prison down in Guatemala? She could run free there. Lastly I don't think she ran out to the bar and said I'm gonna go and hit a school bus today after getting smashed. But I also am not trying to apologize for her. What she did was wrong and if 12 years in prison and being deported is what our judicial system feels is the correct sentence then so be it.

I am very sad that it happened. I am sure she didn't mean to crash her van.
While large-scale immigration created many social tensions, it also produced a new vitality in the cities and states in which the immigrants settled. The newcomers helped transform American society and culture, demonstrating that diversity, as well as unity, is a source of national strength.
Think positively. Think about US without immigrants. Think about it.
It doesn't matter who she is or where she came from, she will serve her sentence. You guys are racists.
