United Negro College Fund advisory board member Jim Keet seems more worried about me than his other opponents, based on his shrill hissy fit today.

Whoops! Excuse me- My Bad. I missed the cute "O'Beebe"

God help us- the guy raised the
income tax 27 years ago? What in the world are you thinking? Or what
are you smoking?

Seems Jonesboro citizens were complaining about the field burning problem in Craighead County. The field burning stopped about the time the announcement was made that former President Clinton would be making a speech in support of Governor Beebe in Jonesboro. I guess smoke and speeches don’t go together. Call Beebe and ask him what he thinks about the field burning problem and then put it on this forum for everyone to read. Then call the Farm Bureau and ask them about the problem. They control the legislature pretty well.

Wasn’t the only tax he helped pass either? Look at the bill in about 2000 that he helped pass which changed how the appraisals are done on property. It took control away from the people, where they had a right to vote for a new appraisal to be done in their district and set up automatic appraisals. It gave more power to the quorum court by taking away the voters right to vote for a new appraisal district appraisal. Also have you wondered where all the state surplus money has came from the last few years?

Daily Horoscope for May 19

Libra

You value your privacy today, especially if you can share it with a very special person. If you're supposed to be going out with lots of people you might be tempted to make your excuses, simply because you can't face all that hubbub and noise. Don't be surprised if someone confides in you, but make sure you can keep their secrets and treat them with the respect they deserve.
