Dear emergency responders in Muskogee:

Don't bet on being able to communicate once you get your new 800 MHz radios. The City of Tulsa and the State of Oklahoma (i.e. OHP and others) have been trying to force that crap to work for 25 years. It still doesn't work, it costs 20 times too much and, they still can't talk to each other. The State of Arkansas hit similar results as did Washington Co, Ark. The State of Louisiana got dumped on its butt by this system when Hurricane Katrina hit. In other words, you'll still be standing at opposite ends of the field, looking at one another and unable to talk to each other! That and $20 million poorer and nothing to show for it!
