Maybe "Wagoner Teachers" is right, it's not ALL the teachers and ALL the Administrations fault, maybe its YOU. Also you have no idea the fight it is in Wagoner to keep your kid from dropping out, getting pregnant and to stay off the drugs. It is everywhere there. Status quo for most. I wouldn't accept it and was smart enough to get away from it. Read about all the meth labs there. Not to mention the ones on the lake in boats and boat houses.

Teacher wrote: <quoted text> Where on earth did you acquire your teaching degree? I find it difficult to believe that you could have made it through the rigorous interview process and become accepted into a teacher education program at my alma mater unless you feel you have become jaded with years of bad experiences. I'd really like to know what happened to you to make you come off sounding like such a jerk. Please elaborate. Where is your Alma Mater? Show me your Curriculum Vitae and I will show you mine. Just kidding. I won't share those things with you. As far as how I am perceived, I couldn't care less. I enjoy telling telling people what I think. I don't mind if they treat me the same. As a result, I enjoy a very stress-free life because I don't bottle my emotions. I really do enjoy teaching. However, I take the "whole family" approach to my work. My personal pedagogy includes tutelage for parents. That's why I'm glad when a pathetic crybaby like the parent posting on this forum actually does something to take charge of their life and fixes the problem. In this case, the parent chose to move out of town. Not the best solution, but also not the worst. One of my colleagues likes to joke with me and say that I provide "service through disservice." That always makes me smile.

People are rude and never smile or show common courtesy.

The problem is you have no idea who they are. Rest assured there is no way you will ever give those people your "whole family" approach! There are some very decent people in your local system but you also have some who have taken discrimination to criminal levels over the years. Your theory about your doing some favor with your trashy discourse as a teaching technique raises the curiosity regarding what is mentioned in your Curriculum Vitae. Is this a technique these institutions that are listed taught you? Are they public or private? If they are receiving public funding and this is part of their teaching, they need to be investigated too. You may qualify as a good subject for a PhD. dissertation, especially considering you are teaching in Indian Country. You should be removed by your superiors. If these instituionalized behaviors are still going on with your colleagues they too should be investigated to the fullest extent of the law. Because what you are doing there is ruining the future of America. Those behaviors are affecting the future taxpayers who are supposed to be funding entitlements for some types like you unfortunately, but also hard working Americans future retirement and medical benefits. You are not allowing them out of the starting gate much less the opportunity to soar. When you beat them down many of them will take you up on it and ultimately the people lose! It is criminal; the laws just have yet to be fully extolled!

I send them out of the starting gate with a (metaphorical) boot to the backside. It's called "tough love."

You only get away with that "tough love" theory with kids who already come from a troubled homes. Your school already has a program for those kids who are unable to attend regular classes due to behavorial issues. Furthermore, you would not ever try that with a techer's child, unless of course, that teacher was a sadist against his own, which would not be unthinkable there. Many practices there are scumbag behaviors and your concept is discriminatory and repressive not unlike some other ideas in your small world. You are the wolf in sheeps clothing. As soon as people with the correct idea for protecting and growing a great future for America's youth gets rid of a lot of you dead-wood old-guard, The country will be much better and more productive! Good riddance! May you involved in these disgusting behaviors meet your Karma straight in the face! May your soul pay the way that of the repressed has! This uses your theory of service by disservice! Enjoy being a massochist for a change!

To Teasley McBaggers or Wagoner Teacher whoever you really are. You misjudged the people posting to you and thinking they don't look elsewhere. While you are giving us a load of pure crap you are talking on the Owasso forum (where I found it) About Obama legalizing Marijuana and how you listen to NPR on your way to the SS office to get your welfare. On the 10 commandment post. You are a fake. Go back to your hole and smoke your self more stupid than you already are. I don't think even Wagoner would hire some idiot like this and it pains me to give Wagoner Schools any credit. Fraud.

Just seems like you have some sort of agenda against the entire Wagoner school district. So sad that you have nothing better in life to do than to slam someone elses school system. Maybe you should worry more about yours, we are all perfectly content with ours. Come down off your pulpit and join the rest of the world.

In the past your school system had a seemingly very bad agenda in certain situations. Today it may be better and the agenda may be entirely different. By reading the newspapers there where the locals give each other awards on a weekly basis, one would be lead to believe it must be better, or someone is keeping the awards company is business. For the sake of the young people and the future of the country let us hope it is just a better system and that a lot of talented people are being taught well. Public schools and institutions should be held to the highest standard. It is not just Tom Cooper's or Wagoner's or Anytown USA's school system. The schools belong to the people and the citizens of the country as a whole. Perhaps someone should consider teaching the young people that they are who is actually going to be paying for the schooling in which they are currently enrolled. We as adults know this is by far the most likely scenario since the money funding much of the operations in many states is borrowed with interest.
If credit card re-payment systems offer any example at all that money won't be repaid by the time those young people in the school retire should they be so fortunate to do so!

No one listened, not even the state. Their hands are tied until someone sues Wagoner schools. My children go to Owasso schools now. Wagoner can't even come close to it. I don't have any of the issues I used to have. You will find more parents mad at Wagoner schools than not.
