I know the families. The parents are wonderful people and their raising was good, bad choices the boys made. I know the boys also and I would of never thought they would do something so horrible.

well i personaly know the one boy wasn't raised right(considering im his cousin). It had nothing to do with the "wrong crowd"..what it had to do with was drugs.Maybe if probation would do their job and try to help them after he failed every piss test..maybe he wouldnt be in this mess.im not trying to make excuses for what he did..but its just going to keep happening if noone stops things before its too late.

A very sad situation all the way around. Not only for the victim and his family, BUT also for the families and friends of these 2 boys, whose lives are now irreparably changed. Facing life in prison at the age of 17 and 18 is definitely a waste of a life. The sorrow they leave behind with their bad decisions will be felt for years to come by those who care for them.

I am from this town I know the parents of the accused. What a sad sad day for them as well as the family of the victim. I will say this.... Marienville is FULL of drugs, abusers and sellers From weed to Heroin are you people in this town so out of touch that you do not demand the police do something. This is the second murder in this town that has occurred due to DRUGS... I recently visited and was asked if i needed some drugs these people have it all... and there are many are you kidding me they are not even afraid to get caught they did not even know me.... THIS IS a CRIME but the police do NOTHING.... it is well past time to crack that town and get it back in control........ to save the next generation if possible

Let's not forget Tim lost his life and a his family is hurting. Tim did ABSOLUTELY nothing but was kind enough to help a person he thought was in need. That was the kind of person Tim was Tim was brutually gunned down over nothing.
This was a premeditated crime; it was planned and carried out. The two YOUNG MEN deserve what they have coming.
People need to be help accountable for their actions, quit making excusing, and blaming the system.

I've been visiting Marienville for atleast 35 years. It seems the only focus there has been DUI's. What a shame. Now one life is lost and 2 will be changed forever. Those two kids need to pay.I hope the drug issue gets resolved. Marienville is still an enjoyable place to hang around.

I am a relative of RJ if anyone thinks that this was about drugs, you have no clue. He was threating to murder when he was 8 yrs old. Believe me I heard it and I knew he could do it. From that time on I stayed away from the whole family. MY heart is broken for my family but the warning signs have been there for a long time. What about the FINUCAN FAMILY. Reach out to them Marienville. It could have been your family that he showed up at.

PRAYERS...for Tim's family also for the two boys accused there family's. The town of Marienville needs to wake up to relise that there needs to be more for the younger generation, So many have to depart from the area for employment. The activities here for the younger generation are few and far between. This town seems to be blind to the younger generation,

I grew up with Rhonda (Stephen's) mom. she is my 1st cousin. He was raised with love and good morals but one mistake caused Stephen his future possibly. I live in Cambridge Springs, PA and a couple months ago we had a lot of kids hanging out doing wrong things and parents act like the police are targeting certain kids. But in reality they were trying to protect the public, we need to support the police. It sounds like Marienville needs to crack down on things going on in their town. The DUI's are inportant but they still need to focus on the young people and choices they are making. I know if Stephen could take it back he would. We need to pray for these boys and the victims family. They are all victims including the families. God does have mercy. Rhonda I love your family. Kids make mistakes, please support them. It sounds like this boy RJ has some major problems. I really hope he gets the help he needs. Parents please be aware of the kids your kids hang with, it can change their lives. We don't have the right to judge, that is left to God. God does forgive.

God does forgive. But He does require that we put our faith in the Lord Jesus who God sent to save us all from sin. These 2 young men are going to prison to be punished for murder. We need to pray that they both have a BROKEN, CONTRITE heart that will cry out to Jesus. They won't get help in prison apart from Him. The mistake that was made was that they didn't choose good they choose evil. Which always comes to steal, kill and destroy. God comes to give life. I pray they come to know Him in their hearts and get set free, while serving their time in prison.

Reading these posts is sad. It is so easy to blame the police, blame the system, blame the people, blame the families, etc. What about simple accountablility. These teenagers knew right from wrong. Sadly they chose wrong which took the life of another human being. This whole nation needs to humble themselves before God Almighty. His promise is love, mercy and grace to the nation that will humble themselves and turn from their evil ways, "I will Heal their Land"..well, we took God out of school, we took God out of the courtroom, we took God out from the dinner table, and we wonder what the heck is wrong with our young generation? This is the end result of removing the One that Loves us the most, right out of our lives and right out of our government and we call it change, we call it progress. God is not mocked. And He is ready to forgive anyone of any sin when they repent with a pure heart, simply saying, they mean what they say to Him, He is faithful to forgive, but they will also have go through the consequences of their actions of killing another human being and denying the victims families of this mans existance. Receiving His Son, Jesus, will set these young teenagers free inside of prison. So really bottom line, we desperately need GOD BROUGHT BACK INTO OUR HOMES, OUR NATION, OUR GOVERNMENT, OUR SCHOOLS, and making JESUS LORD OF OUR LIVES AND NOT GIVE ANY PLACE AT ALL TO SATAN TO PLUCK OUT OUR KIDS!!!!!! My prayer is not only for these teens to received Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, but also for their families and the families of the man that was murdered. That they all will be comforted by His Holy Spirit. This is a WAKE UP CALL TO OUR NATION!!! Let us not turn a blind eye or hardened heart, but instead help each other come back to God Almighty, remember , this was a Christian Nation highly blessed of God, our freedom did not come easy. What have we done to destroy the Hedge of Protection off our Land...easy... we all stood by as satan made sure that we removed God from our Land!!!!! And again its back to accountability... OURS !!!!

God is so good. Pray that the Finucan, Lambert and Hall family turn to the Lord. I just heard that a member of the Lambert family has turned to reading the Bible. I wonder if anyone in the churches of Marienville has reached out to these families? Come on churches of Marienville. Marienville needs you. Come alive and show the Love of the Lord.
