i feel the open container law should be rethought. there is a great deal of abuse on west georgia ave. people are continuously walking from home to home with their little brown paper packages and allowed to drink for hours in their yards and then cat call and make lude comments to passers-by. the vivian police dept tries to regulate and enforce these laws but are extremely short handed.if the landlords of these homes would make unexpected inspections and show no tolerance for this behavior,we would all be a lot happier and safer in the long run

THE LANDLORDS OF SOME HOMES ON WEST GEORGIA AVE IN VIVIAN, LA. SHOULD TAKE MORE PRIDE IN THEIR RENTAL PROPERTIES. WHEN YOU ALLOW SCUM AND LOW LIFE TO RENT FROM YOU, YOU HAVE PROBLEMS LIKE DRUG ACTIVITY, STEALING, ETC. STOP WORRYING ABOUT RECEIVING A MONTHLY CHECK AND TAKE MORE PRIDE IN YOUR COMMUNITY AND NOT ALLOW THESE PEOPLE INTO OUR NEIGHBORHOODS. WEST GEORGIA AVE HAS TURNED INTO A SLUM/HOOD BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF INTEREST FROM THE LANDLORDS, AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. CLEAN UP YOUR BUSINESS PEOPLE.THE HARD WORKING, DECENT PEOPLE WANT THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD BACK!!!!!
