Everybody that thinks they know anything about this case should watch the trailer for Concert of Action (has its own website) and the clips the director has put up on a youtube site by the same name

They should let this guy go, obviously he didn't do it and the evidence is overwhelming. He did a lot of time and he did what he was trained to do, not leave his buddy.

Not so Fast, do you really think because he ws there he is guilty. You are part of the reason justice was thrown out the window. May I remind you that we live in a country governed by laws for the people and by the people. If we throw these laws out the window then what is left besides the manipulating, coniving, dishonest, and criminal judicial system that railroaded this conviction with the help of a third rate media. This conviction was a travesty of justice. as Virginians we must insist on the truth, and reverse this conviction of an innocent man.

If you look at the solid evidence (forensics, witness testimony) etc, it is clear that Turner had arranged for a ride home for Brown with someone; had introduced himself to Miss Evans friends; was in a bar where staff knew both men, and arranged for Miss Evans to be picked up by her friends in less than an hour. Does that make any sense, if Turner and Brown were planning to abduct Miss Evans?
Was Miss Evans ever in the back seat, as Brown and prosecutors alleged at the time? We should be asking the VBPD and Bob Humphries to explain how they think the crime occurred, based on evidence and not conjecture. Another troubling element of this case is that Bob Humphries (the prosecutor at the time) now sits on the Appellate Court that is reviewing Judge Lowe's decision. This can not be promising for an unbiased ruling. It is a tragedy what happened to that poor girl that fateful night, but the person responsible (Brown) should be held accountable; not his friend who was stuck in an impossible position. |

An overwhelming amount of the evidence supports everything that Turner has said from the very beginning even before Brown's confession. Crazy theories of planned abductions and group sex in a toy-sized car, alongside Brown's initial sketchy and inconsistent stories, were exactly what the prosecutors and police SHOULD NOT have used to convict Turner. At some level, putting a kid away for life for accessory after the fact is as much a crime as accessory after the fact!

Common Sense
Well said. It never should have taken Brown's confession to free Turner. The evidence seems to support everything Turner told the police when he took them to the body. The crime is horrible, but that may not be the only crime committed here; and the Commonwealth of Virginia seems bent on keeping that hidden. |
