Python blamed for death euthanized

A 13-foot reticulated python blamed for the death of a Virginia woman has been put down at the request of her husband.

Why did these idiots kill the snake? Capital punishment for a snake that should have not been in captivity in the first place and was just doing what 'snakes do'? More proof of why space aliens hover and do not land on this planet. No intelligent life on this rock. Did they give the snake a fair trial?

That poor snake. I wonder how much satisfaction the husband got out of seeing a lifeless-snake.

Although I agree with these two "posters" in general, any thinking person can agree that this particular snake should not be given a second chance to hurt another human being. As for the insensitive comments, I believe we have every right to own snakes as pets because of the synergistic relationship we have with them-we take care of them and they give us a thrill and a desire to take care of the organism of our choice. Lets be sensitive to the loss of the husband also, "Ram..." This was a tragic accident.
