People from Kodak

My son has been dating a girl from Kodak for awhile and I'm hearing a lot of bad things about the people from there.. Is it really that bad of a place?

No my son is no angel, but he can do a lot better than this girl, she is "weird" and yes I have met this girl and her family. I don't like them! And in my opinion your ignorant or inbred!!

For your information "DUMB", my sons life is my concern, Especially when he's wasting it on trash! As long as he still lives in my house whoever he brings over is my concern !! I don't like her but I tolerate her because of my son! Unless you're from Kodak why do you care?

I was born and raised in Kodak. I am not a pill whore nor am I an imbred. There are some pretty sketchy people from there but I can also say the same about a lot of other places. Name me a place that doesn't. It really depends on who he is seeing.

The only thing that you're right about is that they're good and bad people regardless of where you live! But why would you call this person a moron "you're not much of a person " for doing that! And this person has every right to worry about her son and his future and the people he hangs around

IMO, Sounds like that girl is the one who needs to get away from your son! You shouldn't believe everything you hear.Every place has bad people.There is alot of nice people who live in Vicco/Kodak. Don't let a few bad apples ruin the whole bucket.

Well, I don't care about your opinion! I'm sure that they're is some good people from there, but I wish this girl would stay away from my son! I'm tired of her coming around! All she is doing is holding him back from doing anything, "he has no life "with her! She's way to jealous of him... I'll be glad when he goes to college and gets away from her!!

it sounds to me like you are the type of mother that don't want "mommys baby" to be with any other girl because she's taking him away from you. first of all, grow up... you are a grown woman and you shouldn't be judging a TEENAGER. second of all, it may be your concern, but if you try to push them apart... it's only going to make them CLOSER. quit trying to stur up drama for him, it's only going to make him hate you in the long run. if she is someone that he doesn't need to be with, then he will quickly find out... let him make his OWN mistakes, live and learn... if mommy makes every decision for him, he will never grow up.

That what parents are for. An adult is a much better judge of character than a teenager can be (due to life experience).

i understand having concern for her boy about who he is dating.... BUT when she gets on here and criticizes the girl and calling her trash and saying she's weird... when she probably hasn't even taking the chance to get to know her. i think it's pretty pathetic, if she is so "concerned" why don't she sit down with her son and have a conversation with him, or talk to the girls parents about her "concerns" about their relationship. is the girl on drugs? is she fooling around with every tom, dick & harry around? if she is, then i see the reason for concern... but if she was, i'm pretty sure mommy would've noticed and let all of topix know about it. people like her is why teenagers have so many problems in the first place, they get enough BULLYING in school, they don't need it at home or not from their boyfriend parents, or anywhere. Be a GROWN UP... you say she is "holding him back" how is that? give us some examples. as long as his grades isn't slipping or she is turning him to drugs/alcohol, or even him excluding himself from his other friends... what is the freakin' problem?
