Abba the Tour

The Swedish group Arrival in ABBA THE TOUR is the absolut best ABBA tribute band I ever seen.
I saw them perform in Cincinnati, Detroit, Lancaster and Denver. MAGIC! Wonderful! This is ABBA for sure. The must come back. If you are an ABBA-fan. You must see Arrival from Sweden. Do not mix up Arrival from Sweden with tha low-bugdet/backtrack band Arrival from UK!

Seriously - I was expecting ALL the ABBA hits to be performed, and they didn't. Especially after waiting months because the original performance was cancelled, I was really looking forward to something worth waiting for. The women were great, but the guys didn't hold thier own.

Arrival from Sweden: They did perform all the BIG hit songs like Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Thank you for the music, Money Money Money, Take a chanse on me, Knowing me Knowing you, Fernando, The winner takes it all, Voulez Vous, Chiquitita, I do I do I do, Summer Night City, Waterloo, Ring Ring, Honey Honey....whar songs did you miss?
And what Original performance was cancelled? Arrival from Sweden was not instead of any Original band? They did not replace any other group!

Arrival from Sweden: What a great tribute band! Saw them on October 4 here in Austin...what a great show! We were dancing in the aisles and even the Austin Pops were rockin'. This was probably the best show I have seen in long time...the girls were great (I especially liked the white body suit!) and the guys were excellent...keyboards and percussion, guitar and backup. Great show! Can't wait to see them again if they ever come back.

I hear that they will be performing live again at The Hollywood Bowl this summer (June 26, 2009). I saw Arrival from Sweden last October at the Grove in Anaheim and they were the best so far. I am looking forward to seeing them perform at The Hollywood Bowl. I got my tickets ready too. This group encourages the audience members to sing along and dance with the peformance of ABBA's best songs. BTW D, they wrote and sang over 108 songs from 1972-1983. I hope that they will peform Thank You For the Music as an ending to the performance. All ABBA fans, do not miss this wonderful band if have the chance to see them live!

Arrival won´t be playing Hollywood Bowl, the singer is going to jail. Waterloo will play the show.

Wait until you attend a performance by adbacadabra - Jerry Greenberg the man that signed the original ABBA four their tour inh the states = has said that if you close your eyes the sound is exactly the same- as is the look and energy... Check their website for schedules, if you are lucky - you might be able to see a performance and have a change heart.

Just seen an abba tribute band called ABBA INFERNO live at the Forum (part of university of hertfordshire in the UK) and I have to say that they where awesome. The girls had great voices and where hot to say the least, inparticular their skimpy Christmas outfits! The band sounded great too. Well worth seeing.
